I forget, Did Quasi ever call Frollo dad?
Well, no. What I meant to say was the villian didn’t want their adopted go but they disobeyed.
GOthel wasn’t really a loving mom to Rapunzel. But she is an awesome villain.
Gothel was alright. Not my most favorite Disney villian but she was pretty decent.
A lot of them have grusume deaths.
I thought she was very affectionate to her. 
She simply preferred herself Many real parents are like that.
And actually, when first saw Tangled, I kept mentally comparing them to Hunchback as well.

My thoughts exactly! When I first watched Tangled I thought to myself that Gothel reminded me of a less violent and destructive Frollo.
I do see the similarities! Nice. I’ve only seen a few parts of Hunchback though. Frollo was just looking after Quasi because that blonde dude told him to, because it was a sort of obligation as a holy guy, but Gothel raised Rapunzel because of what she could do. Also, I think Gothel’s way is a more elaborate lie.
Anywayz, both characters are so lovable in their own ways. I guess for me it’s the Pity Factor concerning Quasimdo.
I think that blonde dude you might be referring to is Phoebus? The archdeacon was the one who told Frollo to raise Quasi as some sort of punishment for him killing Quasi’s mother.
Guess this ‘archdeacon’ guy isn’t much of a good fellow either, since he thought raising Quasi would be a ‘punishment.’ Ah well, everyone hates the gypsies. 
I don’t think it was some sort of punishment. The archdeacon told him that he had to adopt Quasi since Frollo killed his mom. I haven’t seen Hunchback in a while so I could be wrong.
Frollo vs Gothel, ehos more evil? I saw Frollo by far.
I’d say Frollo. He’s just more destructive and more violent then Gothel.
He also killed a lot more.
I don’t remember him killing alot of people except for Quasi’s mom. Again, I haven’t seen Hunchback in a while so I could be wrong.
He killed her, tried to kill Quasi, tried to kill an innocent family, tried to kill the Phoebus , may gave killed some people in Paris when he set it on fire, tried to kill Esmeralda and Quasi again.
I agree that it was not a punishment. It was his fault Quasimodo didn’t have a mother, so it was more of an obligation than a punishment.

And it does make since how he fell into the lava.
The archdeacon was polar opposite of Frollo. He represented all that was good in the church while Frollo was all that was evil and greedy.
