I don’t do Wonderbread, when I have a home of my own, I’ll never buy it. White bread is very unhealthy. It’s also ridiculous, basically taking regular flour that was fine the way it was and using unnesessary resources to refine it.
I also think white bread is gross. Ever since I was a kid, even though I didn’t eat “healthy” food, I preferred bread made with unrefined grains and also maybe some seeds and stuff on it. Plus, fiber, although I’m probably the only person who cares about that at my age. Yay, fiber!
Did you know that white sugar, unless it’s organic, is processed with bone char to make it white and fine? I’m not just spreading internet rumors. Seems completely unnecessary to me.
Anyway, back to delicious food. For dinner last night, I made butternut coconut rice and red curry Thai tofu. Pretty good, however, I think the cookbook author switched the amount of salt for each recipe, because the rice was bland and the tofu was very salty. I did what I could to remedy the situation. ![]()
Who says I was talking about white bread. I usually get their whole wheat or grain. I have gotten their white bread before but it’s usually the other two.
I had some fun cooking my lunch today. I made butternut apple soup and fluffy sweet potato biscuits. Both extremely delicious! But now I’m so full I just want to nap.
I have never tried Wonder bread.
