I would love a continuation of The Incredibles because I believe that there is just so much more to explore. I love it also when Pixar does originals, but because TI has a special place in my heart, I just want to see Brad Bird and Pixar consider continuing their adventures. I’m at least a little satisfied that The Boom Comics and the video games continue the story a bit. But if it were up to me, I would crave for a TI sequel from Pixar.
I am not really for a TI series. Although I believe that many episodes would mean many adventures of everyones’ favorite family of Supers, usually a tv series spin off of a popular movie would usually lead to a lower quality.
Well, there kind of making an Incredible live action series on ABC.
They just don’t have the exact same names or powers but they do have powers and is a family. I’m gonna watch cuz it looks cool, I’d love for it to have a second film but the producer says he wants a good storyline before making one
From the looks of where the comic’s going though, the Violet/Xander thing will crash soon enough. I blame it on a huge amount of people finding Tony uninteresting enough to forget about him.
I’ll miss tony. I wonder what things would’ve been like with the two. Or maybe just how these two broke up. But oh well. Xander’s pretty an interesting character for me.
i dont think it would work that well as a tv series because i probably would lose interest after a while. The movie is awesome so they should just stick with movies.
I can’t see myself being able to tolerate The Incredibles as a TV show. I already can’t stand the lack of character in the comics and video games; a TV show would suck the family’s soul out even more. I mean, I really loved Buzz Lightyear of Star Command when I was little, but look at how much NOT like Buzz Patrick Warburton sounds, and that goes for the whole show. It’s just a bad idea. Sequel, however, BRILLIANT!
Any idea that we could think of for The Incredibles 2 would only scratch the surface of what Brad Bird would do when he got to production. He’s just that good.
Oh, and Patrick Warburton sounds more like Kronk then he sounds like Buzz.
To me a sitcom would only be a good idea if a few conditions were met.
The characters would have to look the same as in the movie and also still be animated by Pixar.
The characters voices would have to be the same as in the movie.
Pixar would have to think of new ideas for every episode. The episodes cannot have the same kind of fights with the same kind of villains and the same type of endings! I want to see some suspense watching it, like in the movie.
I want most if all characters to be present( granted syndrome cant exactly be present but I wouldnt mind if Mirage was in an episode once in a while)
The show must not be focused on just one character. Example, the entire show cant be focused on just Violets love life. Dont get me wrong I adore Violet and would love to see episodes focused on her love life, they just cant all be about that. I think the show should demonstrate what every charcter is going through.
This is probably the most important. The personalities of each character MUST be the same as in the movie.
I know to some it may seem like I’m being a tad picky but I feel that if these conditions are not met then it is as if the show isnt even about the Incredibles.
I most certainly agree with every suggestion you have made. There are a few problems however. The biggest issue would be money. It would cost a lot of money to animate TI in CG. And to bring back the sme actors to act the characters would be very difficult. Which is why quality-wise, it would be wiser to do a sequel.
Exactly, thats why I prefer a sequel over a sitcom. Plus I think that Pixar is very unlikely to do a sitcom because to me it doesnt seem like something that they would do even if money wasnt a problem. However if for some miraculous reason Pixar does end up doing a sitcom I dont think that I would watch it unless my conditions were met.
it might be wierd to see the characters in 2D when we’re all used to them in 3d. But the comic studio actually got the characters down. And for 2D characterizations of them, the studio did a good job.
Haha I thought that Helen looked a little weird myself, but TSS does have a point because I am so used to seeing them in the movies that the comic looked a little off. As for the personality thing, When I read the comics I was a little dissapointed when it came to the Bob/Helen relationship. I thought that the comics made them seem like friends not a couple.
Exactly! They hardly even inter acted I know it was for kids, but I hate those comics. That’s one of the main 3 or 4 reasons I love the movie so much, so that wrecked it for me.
