To where have you been in the world until now?

U.S.: California, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington, Alaska, Nevada, Arizona, Florida.

International: Canada, Mexico, Iran, England, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic.

Future visits (hopefully!): Spain, more of England, more of Austria, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Russia, Australia. I’m sure there are plenty more places I can’t remember right now.
sheila

Well let me see…

Landstaul, Germany: Where i was born, my dad was stationed there.

Carribbean: Went on a cruise to three different islands of the Carribbean.

That’s it. The rest has been in the u.s.

I might revisit Florida again sometime in a few months, maybe some place more than Orlando.

I’m going to Barcelona in February, with all the art and photography students, despite the fact that I don’t do either art or photography. I’m just making the most of all the school trips on offer.

Though it’s so unfair that only one class was offered a four day trip to New York. I would’ve killed to go on that!

They should’v offered a four day trip to Emeryville, California… (snigger)

lizardgirl - Your school is so lucky to go on international trips!

Heheh. Yeah!

That would cool. Then again, I usually pass by Emeryville everytime I go see my relatives.

I’ve never been outside the USA, but I’ve come pretty close to Mexico and Canada.

Well, I’ll try and remember.( We used to take yearly vacations but we dont get to as often anymore)

  1. Chicago (20 times-19 for my Beatles convention, once Thanksgiving weekend to shop)
  2. Orlando, florida (4 times, duh, disney world!)
  3. Columbus, Ohio (twice)
  4. Cincinatti Ohio (where my aunt lives)
  5. St. Paul, Minnesota (where my uncle lives)
  6. Washington DC (twice)
  7. Williamsburg Virginia/Virginia beach
  8. New York City (twice)
  9. Gettysburg, PA (twice)
  10. Springfield, IL
  11. St Louis, Missouri
  12. Denver, CO (only while I was waiting for a plane transfer)
  13. San Francisco (again, plane transfer)
  14. Louisville, Kentucky
  15. Niagara Falls, Canada
  16. Hawaii (in Honolulu with a visit to the big island)
  17. Bahamas (on that disney cruise, so we stopped at Nassau and their private island)
  18. Wheeling, West Virginia (cant remember, about 6 or 7 times)

We’ve been toying with the idea of heading up to Boston and the New England area. We’re planning on Las Vegas during Spring Break next year (and of course, Chicago again for the Beatles convention). I also am saving money to go to London and Liverpool, England for their Beatleweek celebration there. I’m a little more than halfway there.

WOw lennonluvr. You have traveled a lot indeed.

Yeah, I guess I have. Mostly to places you can get to in a day’s drive though. And only a few were part of actual vacations (meaning not part of a family visit, not a weekend trip, not a stop after coming from somewhere else, not a drive down and back in the same day)

The only place i’ve been outside the US was Mexico, but I was five or six, so I don’t remember much of the trip. I went with my church to visit an orphanage there.

As for other states, i’ve been to pretty much all of them. Our family moves around a lot

I’d really like to visit London one day, though.

You have been to all of the states? Lucky you! I need to travel more.

Well, like I said, i’ve been to PRETTY MUCH all of them. So if I visit a few more, i’ll probably have visited all of them!

But really, I don’t travel very often, besides moving. I wish my family did, though. I think the furthest we’ve gone from home since we moved back here was to Disneyland :stuck_out_tongue:

Since I live in Germany, I have visited a lot of places there. Most notably our capital Berlin, the island Rügen and Hamburg. But mostly I’ve vistited places in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, since I live in that state.
The only foreign country I’ve ever been was Poland and I’ve visited only one place there: Szczecin. It’s easy for me to get there, because I live very near the Polish border.

To be honest, I don’t have to travel to visit a nice resort place, since I’m living in a resort town. But still, I’d like to visit more places, more foreign countries. It’s tiresome to visit the same places.

WON: Now that you mentioned it, I would love to travel to Germany someday.

WON: Your town is so beautiful!

WON- We’ve got a couple of guys in our Latin class right now who are German exchange students, and they were telling us all about what it’s like in Germany. I’d love to visit one day- it sounds beautiful!

@rachel
Thank you

@TSS and lizardgirl
It’d an honor to show you around if you happen to visit my hometown or the surroundings

WOn: That would be nice. But anyways, I would see pictures, and my friends would tell me what it’s like, but it just isn’t the same as going there and experiencing it yourself.
