True. I attended the Bersih Rally at Sydney Town Hall in 2011 with a group of friends. We wore yellow shirts like many of the supporters and listened to speeches and watched skits. The purpose of the campaign was to ask for free and fair elections in Malaysia (my homeland), and it was organised by a coalition of opposition parties and NGOs. “Bersih” means “clean” in Malay. It was a very peaceful rally, thank goodness.
