If you think that’s bad, wait till you try durian! While I prefer it over papaya, apparently it’s toxic to anyone who’s not familiar with its smell, which apparently stinks like cowpat, with a similar texture. While I can vouch for its texture (not saying I’ve tried eating cow poo before, but I’d imagine it’d feel pretty close!), I think it smells pretty okay to me. And really, it’s very sweet and savoury. It’s an acquired taste.
