That’s a good point. Just because not all 3D movies fully embrace the technology does not mean that the films that have used it well should not be recognized. That’s why it’s not fair, but It’s still just becoming more common for audiences, too. For the ones I like, if there was a great idea, it can really impact whatever story is being told.

True. I cosplayed as his character Jack Sparrow in Sydney once (I think 2011)! Lots of people took their pics of me, I was the envy of my friends. 
I even have a Lego Jack Sparrow keychain I bought from Legoland Malaysia.
I can’t say I’m familiar with all his roles (like Edwards Scissorhands or Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas) but he was AWESOME in Rango and Once Upon A Time In Mexico.
