True Or False

Depends

You enjoy playing in ball pits

LOVE IT!!
Your scared to drive!

I don’t dislike it, but I definitely don’t enjoy it. There’s no much taste there.

You think Dreamwork’s Turbo looks bland.

What I find interesting about this game is that it’s one of those that helps you know more of the other members, which something like writing a word backwards does not.

We can post a new game that can do that, true and false isn’t the only game that does that. Don’t you guys get booard at doing the same thing? In school you don’t wanna be in the same grade all your life do you? One member asked if they repeat questions on here to which the replyer said yes, which means the game is getting repetitive if their aware of the same quesions their asking. We can always upload a similer game like this, as long as were expanding with diffrent games it’s a little bit more creative. It’s just a game, it’s not like everyone will leave if one populer game gets locked up, it’s happended before. Just look forum games up on Google, see one you like and I’ll add it to the list.

Sigh, sometiems I feel like I’m one of the only members who will stand up to a mod here.

Regarding Turbo: Can’t say true. It looks interesting enough. It could be super cheesy or strange, but I don’t like to judge movies. It could very well be one of those nice surprise movies.

You think Turbo looks like it could spawn a new DreamWorks franchise.

I agree! Also, I’m curious: Do you guys always pose a question because it applies to you as true or not? For example, if you say “Your hair is red” do you ask that because your hair is red or just because you’re curious about what the next person will say? For me, my statements may or may not apply to me, but I just wonder what the next person will say.
Pixarfan91: I think you may be rushing the run of this game. Most of us use it and really like it, but in the meantime, I don’t see why you can’t start up a new game right now. It’s just one extra thread and these threads look like they can go on for pages. But I don’t want to see this game go yet, it happens to be one of those things that hardly gets old. Maybe once the same questions start cycling over and over, but most of the questions here actually seem to lead to different questions, which makes it more interesting. Just my thoughts.

“Standing up to a moderator”, Pixarfan91?

When did this proposition you are making become a particular stand up against me? Because I’m the only moderator involved in this discussion, and not even my brother has posted about it, so I’m obviously the subject in there.

I strongly advise you against adopting this kind of posture over such a trivial thing, as if I were a tyrant you need to overthrow or something. Other members like the game, so what’s the problem?

There’s an extended feeling amongst moderators that you sometimes take some attributions that aren’t necessarily yours and then discuss them in a not always polite manner, almost as if you’re campaigning to become a moderator, which is something that escapes us entirely.

Admittedly, I think you’re a very important member of these forums, since your constant posting gets things moving when they’re slow, and I also believe I’ve tried to be nice with you when I’m posting, so I don’t understand why this constant siege.

Anyway, just thought it was time to tell you this. Please don’t take it badly.

LQstudiesPixar: No, those statements don’t necessarily apply to the person who asks them.

If I say “Your hair is red”, it doesn’t mean mine is.

It certainly seems that way.

You prefer to write with ink instead of a pencil.

Okay. That’s what I thought, but I had just always wondered.

False.

You’ve sung in a choir.

Briefly, when I was very little. It wasn’t my thing.

I just realized I skipped a question by Angelxo:

Your scared to drive

The answer would be yes, a little, but my brother is worse 8D

You prefer your coffee with milk.

True. Even better with sugar/condensed milk. I don’t drink black.

Any chance it will be available to buy from overseas if in print? I’m curious to see it! What’s the title? Are you contributing in terms of drawing or writing?

You like police procedurals/dramas (TV shows, books, etc).

I love that kind of mystery fiction in general, but the police procedural as a pure sub-genre not as much. I much prefer the private detective sub-genre.

You live near a bridge.

TDIT: I’ll answer you in a PM.

True! It’s the Benjamin Sheares Bridge over the iconic Marina Bay. It’s near one of the most popular photography spots in Singapore; everytime you see a skyline pic in a tourist postcard, there’s a good chance you might see the bridge and my house. My crib (my folks’ really, I can’t afford rent or downpayments with my income yet!) is at the pink apartments. They also frequently appear in TV shows and local films (the recent Taxi! Taxi!, for example, had its final shot at a river-side street just in front of my apartment).

If there are any ninja assassins reading this, now you know where to find TDIT!

You live in an apartment.

True.

You’ve been interviewed for a longer time than an hour.

False.

I appeared on TV twice, once as a child for Disney Channel Malaysia and another time as a pre-U student at a new campus of my university in Singapore (which unfortunately closed down). Can’t remember how long was the first, but my second’s piece-to-camera was probably less than 15 minutes, and they edited 'em to fit a 30-second soundbite.

If you’re talking job interviews, my first job (which was in Sydney), I was interviewed for about half an hour. If you count the one-day probation where they set me tasks to complete, I suppose you could say it was more than an hour. My second (and current) job in Singapore was done by phone interview, as I was still working in my Sydney job. That took about half an hour too. I went to the news centre during my year-end trip to Singapore to do a one-hour writing test. I received my confirmation a few weeks later by air mail.

You know how to disassemble and assemble an AR-15 rifle (not sure if family-friendly? laugh out loud, lemme know Mods and I can change the question).

I haven’t been in contact with that particular model, so false, I guess.

You’ve shot a deer.

If we don’t make any changes here the board might never inprove. It might just stay the same or get worse. Since their’s another version of this game up now do we really need two? Woulden’t it make more sense to make that one a replacment?

Hey Pixarfan91, there’s another version of True Or False? I wasn’t aware of it! :open_mouth: Post a link here so everyone can see it. But I think people seem to be posting in this version more often. Also, any participation is good, but I can see your point of people needing to diversify. I’ll see if I can contribute to some of your game threads and get peeps to notice, howzaboutdat?

EDIT Okay, I found it, it’s right below this thread. Silly me! :unamused:

False. I probably wouldn’t have the guts to shoot, much less kill one, unless I was desperately hungry in the wilderness or something (It actually reminds me of a pivotal scene in the new Tomb Raider game, which I’m now playing).

Your house has been burgled before.

True, that’s the norm here!

You think Thomas Newman is repetitive.

I don’t really know of him

You use eyedrops

False.

You’ve visited Montenegro.

False

You go over the given word limit when writing essays
