Truthfully, I think many people are tired of the forum period. There isn’t much to talk about. Just ordering packages and books really; most of the movies’ subjects have been exhausted. And how many games exist really?

They’re are diffrent games but no one plays them. Like I said I put up a post for possible new games to replace old ones but not many voted. This game won’t save the board, it may take some new stuff to do so. I don’t see MU helping much since Brave didn’t bring much new people. And the new people just may leave after the MU hype is over like some did for the older movies. It’s the begining of summer and it’s kind of dead. Changes need to be made, if they’re not people move on from the old thing.
Then close games that LITERALLY do not get played, like Favorite Color, Funny Picture, Pixarteers, etc. TDIT and Spirit at least remain active on this thread. Our issue is lack of active members, not lack of games.
You have to allow for the possibility that maybe some other members don’t like the rest of the games so much. I play those that attract me. But, just like you say having this game open won’t save the forums, closing it won’t do it either. But if it attracts at least one member, then it does more good than harm.

Dueling Christmas Pixar characters wear Christmas stuff and have Christmas stuff around them, same for Halloween, New Years, St Patricks, etc. Changes need to be made or things might get worse. We don’t even have enough staff members to organize all that, and I think the effort will be wasted as not many would join because of that. Nothing can replace sheer interest. We all joined because of that in the first place, and that’s what’s lacking on our part, not the forum’s.

It has a lot to do with the forum itself: Pixar news. Remember in 2010? Lots of new people joined out of excitement and interest in TS3. If something momentous in the Pixar canon happened again, I’m sure there would be an effect. But we need members before we worry on games and awards.
