Sort of true. I mean, it’s easier to be friends with someone if they share the same opinions and beliefs as you. But I have some friends who have starkly different takes on religion, politics or movies, and I appreciate listening to their arguments and reasoning, cos’ they inform my own opinion.

So while my friends and I almost always have one thing in common, most of them have very different outlook on things from mine.

I’m a fan of the classic black novel genre involving a crime mystery, and it’s audiovisual counterparts. Modern police dramas don’t do much for me, specially the TV serial kind.
