I wish I was in college now. Nobody I know is having the screening in theirs.
I don’t think I’d go even if I had the chance. I mean, who wants to see a movie you’ve been highly anticipating only to have it end early? what so you can have your bragging rights? I’d rather just wait and see the whole thing.
But that begs the question of how much does it reveal? It can either make you even more anticipated to see the rest of the film (probably its original purpose, but the parts you’ve already seen might get redundant), or it can simply spoil it, while only leaving out some details.
i’m just excited to get a taste of the awesomeness to come.
my college’s screening is tonight! i’m happy… i can still get in even though i’m still in high school. haha.
Just came back from the Cliffhanger edition in Santa Clara California. Even though I am not a college student, I had no problem getting in with my 13 year old daughter and my 3 year old son. It was only half full so I anyone could have got in. They had a raffle for 3 sets of TOY STORY 1 & 2 on Blu ray and a Buzz Light year doll. Didnt win any though. They had about 3 or 4 security in suits with night visions watching the audience during the movie. We had to leave our phones and cameras out side. They put them in Paper bags stapled with a number they gave you. When you picked it up after the movie, they gave ya a Do not disturb/ come inside and play door hanger sign with a toy story 3 theme on it.
As for the movie,no previews or pixar shorts. Director Lee Urkich first intoduced the movie saying it was not completly finished yet . but hope everyone comes back June 18. The movie was great and did not wanted it to end half way like it did. I am more excited to finish it as I hope to attend Pixar Studios in May 27th to do that. When the film finished, Lee, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen appeared to remind us to see it in June. Then Tom and Tim started to pretend they were Woody and Buzz…
Toy Story 3 could be the best TOY STORY EVER!!!
Small world, I just saw it in Santa Clara too! I was actually amazed at how empty the theater was; if I’d known, would have asked the rest of my family along. Can’t wait to see the whole thing (though probably not on May 27th).
Regarding[spoil]Chuckles, I’m almost sure he was voiced by Bud Luckey.[/spoil]
I wish, but I think Bud Luckey retired a few years ago. The current rumor going around is that he’s voiced by James Anthony Cotton. So unless the voice was done a while ago, it’s probably him.
