Video Games

I’m a big Mario fan as well, Daughter of Eve! I only have Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, the original Super Mario Bros.2 and Super Mario Bros.3, and Mario Kart: Double Dash, but the Mario games are definitely my favorite! :unamused:

sigh i barely play any video games at all anymore… but whe i did i played

the NFS Series
Mario Party series
Zelda
Burnout series
Flatout
Sports games
and some others…

Yay! Now I don’t feel like the only one!

Does anyone here have the TS3 game? I’ve heard some good and bad reviews on it, so I don’t really know if it would be worth the buy. I heard that the PS3 and Xbox have some advantages over the Wii version, but I don’t have an Xbox OR a PlayStation. :unamused:

We have the old TS2 game for both PC and the Nintendo 64, and I like that one alot - even though it’s several years old. The graphics on it make me laugh.

I personally loved the TS3 game, i just wish the story mode was longer, but as a fan of TS, it is amazingly addictive. The Toy Box mode isnt bad, but I don’t think there’s as much on the PC version which is what I’ve played.

though ive beaten the Cars, UP, Ratatouille, and Finding Nemo games…

I haven’t played any of the Pixar video games. As a rule, I stay away from games based on movies, they’re usually really bad. The exceptions are games that are released years after the movie, like Goldeneye and the Ghostbusters video game.

I recently bought Fable II for my 360, and so far, I really like it  I love open ended games where you can just do as you please. I actually walked into the store hoping to buy another copy of The Orange Box after my other copy broke, but they didn’t have it in stock. I wasn’t walking out of their empty-handed though, so I just grabbed Fable II because my cousin raves about it so much. I’m glad I did.

lol I’m a Mario fan too but since Conker I kinda lost interest a bit

the games are still awesome though

I feel like I’m betraying Nintendo for this but I’m getting a Xbox360. Why? Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. That’d be all. I mean, I waited nine years for a sequel to Banjo-tooie…

Oh, and also some other Rare games because Rare pwns.

Don’t do it. I bought an Xbox for Banjo and now all I play are Arcade games because almost none of the retail games interest me. x_x

Alan Wake

GTA IV + EFLC

I have a PS2 and a Wii and I don’t really have many games. Most of my PS2 games are sports games made by EA Sports. For the Wii, I have Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and Wipeout: The Game.

Psh I’m still getting it either way, no offense
and from all gameplay vids I’ve seen, it looks decent and I actually LIKE the vehicle-building stuff. Not to mention I self-proclaimed me one of Holland’s biggest Banjo-Kazooie fangirls. A fangirl that doesn’t have all games, for now…

And I’m also getting Conker: Live and Reloaded, Kameo, Viva Piñata and its sequel, and most other Rare stuff. Because they’re with Microsoft. So yeah.

I usually watch gameplay vids, too, Badger. I also try to find as many reviews and information I possibly can before even considering buying a new game. That’s what I did with Super Mario Galaxy 2. I think that game was definitely worth the $50.00 that I spent on it.

Agreed. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the only games I’ve bought at full price, and it’s worth every cent. Wahoo!

[b:31g69zh2]Flister[/b:31g69zh2]: I’m still having the hardest time beating it, though. I haven’t been able to play it for like, the past three weeks because my brothers have this habit of giving their friends our games to "borrow".

I also don’t understand how my brothers can beat any game we buy (no matter HOW hard it is) in only two weeks after we buy the game! They already beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 - and I mean [i:31g69zh2]completely[/i:31g69zh2]. All 242 stars. :-\ SO not fair. But hey - I like the more challenging games. When I was over at my cousins’ house the other day, she had this Disney Princess game that she wanted to play (she is around 7 years old) and when she got bored of it, she wanted me to play it. Let’s just say that it was the easiest game I have ever played in my life. :P

The NFS Hot Pursuit website has been revamped with new updates!

Interesting things to note is the increased damage level and the ‘Burnout Revenge’ style player interaction. Hopefully the music heard in this trailer is actual gameplay soundtrack, cos’ it is pretty epic.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Limited Edition Trailer

This is more of an accolades trailer and plug to buy the ‘Limited Edition’, but at least they have good taste in car models.

Speaking of which, the ‘Cars’ section on the main site assures the reader that the game will feature “the hottest cars, with absolutely no ‘fillers’.” It seems they have taken note of fan remarks about the lacklustre starting model lineup of recent games and brought out the ‘big boys’ of yore once again.

Overall, I’m glad NFS has chosen to move in this ‘back-to-basics’ direction (No doubt in thanks to Criterion)! Whether it can remain engaging with its ‘replay’ value or garner enough fans to provide a decent community remains to be seen, but I’m quite optimistic about it so far.

I wanna play the Scott Pilgrim game soo bad. It doesn’t come out until next week for 360. D:

So yeah after nine whole years I finally got the third Banjo-Kazooie <3 And a XBOX TOO FGSFG
YAY I’M A FANGIRL

And I don’t care what anyone says, the 'box is amazing and definitely worth the 100€ I paid for it (it was secondhand)
Woooooo! 8D

^ Ahh, Banjo and Kazooie…good times, good times. I miss my old N64…

I bought Unreal Tournament 3 for my X-Box 360 today. The plot is basically non-existant, but as far as mindless, team-based shooters go, it’s the best I’ve played  A lot of different game modes like capture the flag, warfare, and team battles, a nice mix of characters, and a wide variety of guns and arenas make this the most fun FPS in my 360 collection.

I just got Madden NFL 10 for my PS2 and I LOVE it. I had Madden 06, but this is much, much better.

Cool to see we have some fans for the Banjo games on here! I grew up with them, and really just about anything else on N64.

Anyway… I gained fame on the internet mostly through the Kirby community. I’ve been a big fan since I was 4 years old, and can’t wait for Epic Yarn to be released. Currently, it seems set for mid-October, which is a good time for me. :sunglasses:

I also love EarthBound and the other games of the MOTHER series… very obscure, very amazing

I was playing a lot of Um Jammer Lammy before my bro trashed our PS2. We’re gonna see if my mom can tinker with it and get it to work again, but for now, I’m Lammy-less. Noooo!!

For those wondering about UJL, here’s some random stuff from it:
