I found Diabolical Box more difficult than Curious Village, though 
Oh, really? I personally found the Unwound Future to be the easiest… but that was probably because at that point, I figured out the gameplay fairly quick, so I was able to finish it really fast.
Just to give you an idea, I got the game for Christmas, and finished it by the first of January. I thought it would last longer than that. xD
So far, I have mixed feelings about the Specter’s Flute (or the Flute of Malevolent Destiny, as it will come to be called here in the US). I kind of want to get it when it comes out - after I get both the Curious Village and the Diabolical Box - just to have the entire Layton series. I read somewhere that they’re only making two more Layton games for the DS before they move to the 3DS. I’m really hoping that one of those two is the sequel to the Unwound Future… seeing as how they threw a big “To be continued” at the end of it.

Yes, the puzzles in Unwound Future were pretty easy (which it is okay with me because i am very bad with puzzles 
) but that didn´t bother me, the story and the characters were pretty good.
And about the “to be continued” in unwound Future…maybe it is because of the next game (Malevolent Flute)…but it is strange, Unwound Future is the last game (in story terms, the last three games are before Curious Village)
It sucks that the new game is on 3DS 
I really want to play this game but i don´t want to buy a 3DS to play only two games (this and Professor Layton x Ace Attorney)
The Specter’s Flute is going to be for the DS, so you’ll have a chance to play that. 
But you’re right. I wouldn’t want to buy the 3DS just so I can play a couple Layton games. xD The only two games I know that are coming out for the 3DS are Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney and Layton and the Mask of Miracle.
The Specter’s Flute is already out in Japan, and it comes with a separate RPG-style game within the game. Apparently, the RPG mode like some sort of Animal Crossing-type deal where you create an avatar and solve puzzles throughout London. I thought that sounded kind of interesting.
It just makes me wonder if what I read was true - they said they would be making only two more Layton games for the DS, one of those being the Specter’s Flute. The other games (PL vs. AA and the Mask of Miracle) are for 3DS. So… that leaves one space open for another Layton game that, hopefully, will be the sequel to the Unwound Future.
I thought Nintendo said they weren’t localizing that over here?
Perhaps. I believed that the Specter’s Flute was the one that was going to be introduced in the US, but I’m not entirely sure because nothing has been said about it. All they’re talking about is PL vs. AA and the Mask of Miracle in Japan. I had just assumed that they were releasing the Specter’s Flute in the US because it’s the next Layton game that was released in Japan last year. Shrug Maybe I just don’t know what I’m talking about. 
I’m into COD Black Ops now.

I still have hopes on Mask of Miracles, i mean, Layton games sales are very good, i don´t think they would stop on Malevolant Flute…we´ll see.
They better localize that game. It looks epic. 
I’m getting a 3DS so that isn’t a concern, but I’ll be really disappointed if it isn’t localized, especially because the 3DS is region locked.

just been playing Black Ops for about 2 weeks, and my K/D has improved from .6 to 1.3.
So did anyone see the new 3DS announcements today? Mario 3DS looks great, a blend of Mario Galaxy and NSMB, plus apparently some elements from SMB3. Netflix streaming is also very impressive, especially if they decide to stream movies in 3D (right now only trailers are confirmed). Really glad I preordered my 3DS now.
I’ve been willing to get Black Ops for some time now. Even though the games’s publisher (Activsion) is money-greedy by milking franchises every year, I still feel I must own a COD game since pretty much everyone does.
I started playing Pokemon White.I am grinding to battle the first gym leader, and i love everything so far.
Speaking of Pokémon, I got Black about a week ago. Already beat the Elite Four by now… and caught Reshiram, the ultimate legendary Pokémon that’s on the box, with a quick ball. :B And I named him FLUFFY! 
I like Krookodile and Braviary. Got 'em in my team.

I’ve always loved the Pokemon Games, but I got disconnected from them since Diamond (4th Generation) because of time, I bought HeartGold in November and I havent finished it yet, when I am done with that game, I am sure I am gonna try the new ones (Black & White),I’ve heard and read that those games (B&W) are the best POKEMON games to date (I doubt they have beaten Gold & Silver, but I’ll have to find out)
I also read that B&W have broken records, the pokemon games are selling better than ever…

I just read the other day that Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle is the number one selling 3DS game in Japan right now… I doubt it would be that popular once it comes to the US. 
I honestly don’t know what to think about the 3DS… it looks interesting, but there aren’t really any good games that I would really want. shrug I guess to me, it just seems like we would be wasting our money on it, especially since it’s way too expensive (for our family, at least).
Really, the only game I would actually want for the 3DS would be Rayman 3D… because it’s Rayman 2 but for 3DS. And I have played Rayman 2 and I liked it.
I can’t wait for the Pirates of the Carribean LEGO game. I’m a huge fan of the franchise’s zany humour, I laughed so hard when Elizabeth dropped out of her clothes at the end and then the dress floated down with that nutty sound effect.
