I hope. I want to see a Pokemon game on the Wii U that is similer to the handheld games, but has all regions.
Skyward Sword is hands-down the best game I have ever played. The controls are perfect, the plot is incredible and the graphics are amazing. I was a little sceptical at first when I heard they were going back to a more cartoony style but with the Wii’s limited graphics power, Twilight Princess’s realistic textures were kind of bad so I’m glad they found a style that really works.
That being said, I can’t wait to see what they have planned for the Wii U graphics-wise. I’m hoping that they work with the demo they had at E3 (I’m sure most of you have seen it… but if you haven’t take a look!) because those graphics were gorgeous.
Plot-wise… wow. I have no idea how they managed to pull off a completely different kind of style to previous Zelda games but still manage to explain and link to the other games.
One last thing as well… I’m not normally a fan of video game music but the Zelda series has had be enthralled for years. Groose’s theme in particular for Skyward Sword was the major one I liked - the way it was cocky and loud when you first meet him in Skyloft, and how it later gets woven into the cutscenes in the Sealed Temple.
I’d been waiting for hours for Zelda’s lullaby to eventually pop up but when it did… needless to say when the tune started up in the Temple of Hylia, I was trying to fight back tears throughout that entire cutscene.
[edit] Also, the fact that the Skyward Sword main theme has Zelda’s Lullaby in it when you play it backwards proves how mind-blowingly amazing the composer is. (again, if you haven’t heard it click here. You can kind of hear it at the beginning but keep listening… around the 30 second mark prepare to have your brain explode)
Has anyone with a 3DS played the new Mario game?
No, but i hope so. i’m hoping to get either a 3ds or a psp for x-mas
I want a 3DS. Not sure when I’ll get one though.
I’m finally playing Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7! It looks even better than the first one, which was awesome.
I have started playing MW3, and I love it. It’s more complicated than Black ops, but its still very fun
For some reason I don’t think the 3DS is that big of a deal. Of course, I also don’t want to spend the money to buy it.
Has anyone here gone to an arcade?
0 A.D. Is my favorite right now. I play whenever I can I love Stragety Games…
I remember about 10 years ago, I got Pokemon Gold and Silver, and had a lot of fun with them, and still do, The problem is they have a battery that can run dry, and once it does, the date gets erased. It has happpend to Silver and it only a matter of time until Gold does to.
Pixarfan91: About the Arcade yeah. And I remember Pokemon games I even had Pokemon Pinball for my Gameboy Pocket! I still have my Pocket but no Pokemon Pinball…
I’m asking Pokemon White for Christmas. Me and a lot of my friends I grew up with still play the games.
I just love stragtey and racing games. Games like SpaceInvasion (web) and 0 A.D. And I am very good at them aswell. Are just so appealing to me. Pokemon I played on every road trip. I have RISK on my phone and I play that when I have nothing to do and am not home. I love a good challenge.
I used to play Pokemon games every day… I still play them when I can TBH. I even have Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon HeartGold for the DS. Hopefully I’ll be getting either Black or White version soon, as I’ve almost beaten HG.
Anyone remember when the series first started?
I do, I remember coming home from school, and Pokemon would be the next show to come on. Those were good times.
Really, I thought it was one before school when it started.
Maybe, I started watching it shortly after I got Pokemon Blue for Christmas in 1999. It would come on after school every day on WB Kids.
Mmm, I huess so, I watched it back then too. Thought it was on the mourning.
