WALL•E Fan Commentaries

I’ve posted in the ‘rankings’ thread and I’m interested in joining the future WALL-E commentary. I’ve done one myself, so expect me to have a few things to say.

Hope I’m eligible.

I’m so glad we get an early second round of WALL-E, it was my #2 choice anyway.

Hmm… I think I did a practice (two in fact, I think it was Tin Toy and Your Friend The Rat) last year, that was the last time I completed one… :frowning:

Am I still eligible, or do I have to go for another one for 2009? If I get the green light, I’ll send you my schedule for July, because I’m interested for a second go-around. With priority given to first timers, of course.

thedriveintheatre - You’ve done two practices and a couple of feature commentaries this year, so I think you’ll be ok. Maybe I’ll have to implement a rule later on that if you haven’t done a practice/feature film in X months you have to participate in a new practice, because people’s computers and headsets can change or break etc in that time. But if you feel like you need to brush up on your commentating skills and would like to join in on any practices if we have any newbies, you are more than welcome to do that. Right now is the time for people who haven’t ever done a practice to send me their schedules. The schedules for the WALL-E feature commentary will probably be requested in late June/early July (depends on if we end up having a practice or not).

Less than 24 hours to go for those who have never done a practice commentary before, and are interested in commentating on WALL-E to post here!

Although I have (only recently) participated in a practice commentary, I would really like to join, if there is any available space.

Although, if there is anyone out there who would like to participate in the Wall-E Commentary, don’t be scared, speak up! I want anyone who hasn’t done this yet to get a chance. :sunglasses:

The Axiom ship has already sailed so only those who have completed a practice commentary may participate in the upcoming WALL-E commentary. Keep an eye on this thread for when I’ll ask for you to send me your schedules for the feature.

actuallyi am a great fan of pixars and as i got this forum it helped a lotin knowing many new things about this forum

Well, Pixar Planet wouldn’t be what it is without the great members, such as yourself, kummararavi. =)

Are you interested in commentating/talking about a Pixar film with the rest of us fans? If so, look at this thread: Fan Commentaries - Rules and Information

Hello Rachel!

Is it too late to sign up for the Wall-E commentary?

cookie - No, it’s not too late for you. It would have only been too late if you had never done a practice, but since you have then it’s all good. :sunglasses:

With that, I may as well announce the request for schedules for the WALL-E fan commentary for July. (I know Monsters, Inc. was only just done but I was running behind last month).

So anyone who has:

  1. Participated in a practice,
  2. Posted your rankings of all the Pixar films (except Up) in this thread AND
  3. An interest in commentating on WALL-E

Please read carefully below…

The session(s) will be done in mid-late July, so send me your schedule via a private message for that time within the next 8 days. Remember to give me any updates to your schedule as soon as you find out any changes. I will then post possible times when the commentary could take place, as well as a list of participants.

Any questions? Post below, PM me, or contact me over Skype.

Score. :sunglasses:

Thanks Rachel.

No worries. =)

And just a clarification. When you send me your schedules, please state the exact time you’d be able to be at the computer and start the commentary, as well as the time the commentary would have to be finished by. It just makes it easier when organising everyone’s different schedules. Thanks.

As I’ve stated before, I’d love to participate in this commentary. Keep a spot open for me please!

My schedule is the same as posted in the Monsters inc Commentary thread.

Too busy on weekends,
Boy scouts on Wednesdays,
Family day on the 17th of July,
My B-day on the 31st of July,
and again from August 10th to 17th.

That’s about all I can think of, if there’s more I will update this post.

I’ve given you my schedule, Rach (hope you don’t mind me calling you that :stuck_out_tongue:) and I’ve posted my request to participate in this session here, too. As for my new schedule when school comes back on (was supposed to be today, but turns out to be next week instead for some reason), I’ll confirm it once I receive my timetable, which should be before the deadline to give our schedules.

~ Flare

Dragon - Righty-o. And sure, you can call me Rach. =)

Mygames19 - For the days that you are free, what time would you be able to start the commentary, and what’s the latest time would you have to finish?

thewisecookiesheet - Thanks for the schedule. :sunglasses:

Same as usual, 7:00 PM EST is about right, and 9:00 is about the time I should have to go off.

Mygames19 - I know that the commentaries take about 2 hours (but I’d expect to have to stick around for 3 hours just in case), but I have to match up with your time with people in other time zones and different free times from you, so if you could find some way to extend those times, or stay up later or start earlier, then that would guarantee you a spot in the commentary. Remember, other people are doing this too, so I have to match up all the different schedules to when you are all free.

Ah Rachel, I cannot do this upcoming Wednesday (8th), Thursday (9th) or Saturday (11th).

Just learned this today.

thewisecookiesheet - That’s ok. The time to send me schedules doesn’t finish until 4 days from now and the possible schedule times wouldn’t be posted until a few days after that anyway.
