Shirley Temples ARE good. Holy… I really want one right now.
I like the fact
that they are called Shirley Temples too. I used to be obsessed with Shirley Temple and the drink is actually
called that because the child actress went to a bar and that is what they gave her since she couldn’t have
alcohol.
Just to ask, does
soda apply to any fizzy drink? Because, if it does, then how does anyone know what you’re actually asking for if
you say you want a soda?
My favourite beverage has to be Kinnie. It’s only sold in Malta, so I can only
have it when I go there, but it is the most delicious drink ever- it’s fizzy, and is made out of herbs and
citris fruits, so not only is it delicious, but it’s healthy too!
The term soda does apply to most fizzy drinks, and if you were to ask for one
the person would probably ask you, “What kind?” Therefore, we generally don’t ask for sodas… we ask
for a coke, sprite, root beer, etc.
Aahh,
I see. Thanks, JamieLew. It’s just sometimes, I’ve seen in a movie or something where someone asks for a soda
at a bar, and no-one actually questions what they’re actually asking for. ![]()
I love coke, pepsi, milkshakes, and boba drinks.
I looove
Shirley Temple’s that’s pracially all we had when we went on our cruise. XD They even put a real cherry in
them.
I alos LOVE Ramune. I tried it once at an anime convention, and loved them. XD And there’s an Asian
supermarket across the street from our school, which has them, so we often make trips over there. XD
Glad to be of help, LG.
You know what beverage I really
like?
POM Tea… especially the Pomogranate Peach White Tea. It is so good and especially refreshing in the
summer and the health benefits can’t hurt.
If you’ve been around this forum for a while you would also
know my obsession with Boba. Mm. I haven’t had that for a while since it’s not “Boba weather”
(hot)…
Sammeh-
Do you mean Ramen? The instant noodles?
I like Pomegranite juice . It’s just so expensive !
![]()
Pomogranite juice IS really expensive. The pomogranate
tea however is quite a bit cheaper, and it isn’t bitter or anything as you would expect from tea.
I drink water 95% of the time,
and I drink about 3 bottles of water everyday. How can I go wrong?
Other favorite drinks of mine are
chocolate milkshakes, Hawaiian Punch, orange Slice, and A&W root beer.
~~=oP
I LOVE Sprecher (did I spell that right?) root beer. It’s the absolute best
root beer. Period.
PixarVixen - I should take a leaf out of your book concerning water – I only drink
about two bottles of the stuff a day, if even. Maybe that’s why I’m so tired all the time… ![]()
As for
my favorite drink, well…that would be Sprite. I absolutely love the stuff, even
though it gives me really bad gas. ![]()
Hot chocolate is quite delicious, as well. Basically any drink
will do for me, as long as it’s not alchohol (disgusting stuff – tastes like window screen) or soda (with the
exception of Sprite, of course).
Alcohol is okay in very small doses, so to speak. Sometimes half a glass of white wine can be
really nice with dinner, say, but just drinking alcohol by itself is ick- it can be so overwhelming.
I
really don’t like hot drinks unless it is freezing outside, and even then, I’d prefer something chilled. Tea is
something I just hate, but I can put up with coffee.
Don’t get me wrong, I drink water
about 95% of the time as well. I don’t know how much I drink since I can’t calculate the bottles but I drink a
lot at home. It really helps when I’m studying because it gives me something to do and keeps me refreshed.
Here is a tricky food question. What is your favorite one
day meal? If you can have anything for breakfast, anything for lunch, anything for dinner, and anything for
dessert, what would they be?
breakfast : cheese omlete
lunch : hot dog with ketchup and a little bit of
mustard
dinner : angel hair pasta with clams all on it ( no there’s no tomato sauce )
desert : blue jello
with a little whipped cream on top .
The Star
Swordsman - Oh gosh, I couldn’t wait to answer this question… ![]()
Here is my list:
Breakfast - Blueberry pancakes at Mimi’s Cafe*
Lunch - Grilled cheese sandwiches
Dinner -
Salmon and hot potatoes – hold the gravy
Dessert - Good
question…
*Mimi’s Cafe is a local French restaurant in my area, and they
have absolutely the best food around. It’s my favorite restaurant, actually, and
now that Ratatouille is coming out…well…I think of it constantly now. Their
blueberry pancakes are to die for. ![]()
Speaking of food and cafe’s: What’s your favorite
restaurant?
My favorite
resturaunt us definetly Fire and Ice . It’s like a buffet , but the food is raw
when you take it , and then the chefs grill it on a big grill , and then you eat it all with chopsticks . yum
.
For the day’s meal thing-
Breakfast- pain au chocolat
Lunch- smoked salmon with salad, or brie and
bacon sandwiches
Dinner- a mixture of Japanese food
Desert- mango sorbet and fruit
Favourite
restaurant…Hmm…Well, there’s a place in town called Trent’s, which does pretty much anything and it’s
always delicious, but it’s pretty posh as well. The best fast food place I’ve ever been to is a place called
Pel’s, in Cornwall, and we had lunch there pretty much every day because they served the best fast, yet healthy,
food.
