I think Your Friend the Rat might fall some where in the top five. Maybe the bottom part of it.
Your Friend the Rat was a great short, but SO much different from all the others I don’t know where to put it. Nothing against it, but the narration, alternation of animations styles, etc., weren’t in any previous PIxar efforts… so yeah. ![]()
I liked Your Friend the Rat as well, but Boundin’ will still always be my favourite ![]()
Same way with Mater and the Ghostlight. ![]()
Gasduude - Yeah, you’re right. It was just sooo…unique from all of the other Pixar shorts, plus, the fact that it is the only informative film of the bunch (and one that contains historical tidbits at that) is probably why I see it more as an…instructional video, as others have called it, instead of a true short.

Yeah, it didn’t really seem like a short to me, even though it was… maybe it was because it was so long, or, like Mitch said, because it was loaded with facts and history
I did really like the many styles of animation they used, though. That’s part of the reason I liked it as much as I did. I prefer 2D, actually. I hope to see more of this from Pixar ![]()
LeBatEnRouge - Yeah, the length of the film may have had something to do with it, as well.
Yay for 2D lovers! high-five ![]()

It is now “Geri’s Game”
Tow Mater: Well, I love that one too. It makes me wonder sometimes how do the guys at Pixar come up with such amazing ideas.
