What's in a Username?

Well, as you probably know, I LOVE dogs. I wanted a username to say that, I was originally going to be Dogsrule. But, I had that username on another website, and i was sick of everyone asking me “Are you a boy or girl?” So, i thought about changing it to Doggirl, but that sounded weird. So I changed it to K9. I liked that name so much I use it whenever I join a website.

I guess I just have a thing for alliterative usernames. “mogwai” comes from me being such a huge Gremlins fan, while “milkshake” became something of a meme in my household after There Will Be Blood. No particularly obvious connection between the two, but I thought it sounded cool.

Mine is pretty simple. Ellie, Jessie, and EVE are some of my favorite Pixar characters! They aren’t all my favorite characters necissarily, but I do like them a lot and felt that I should just keep female characters in the username ( I don’t know why though).
And I like dashes, so the names are all seperated by dashes.

So I pretty much have no reason for Faytes.

I’ve just always used it. I basically just threw a bunch of letters together. Why not?

It just occured to me that Mr. IncredibleXElastigirl= Incredigirl.

I’ll just put it simply, as I’ve said before, that my username is a homage to Esmeralda and Archemedes, my very first Pixar fancharacters, who have changed HEAVILY since I created them. They both started out as mantis/moth mixes, but Esmeralda has hense become a bumblebee with a French accent, “the tough girl” of the circus troupe (to balance Gypsy and Rosie’s sweet demenors) and a twin sister named Constance (who is pretty much the same), and Archemedes has become a caterpillar of the same kind of moth that Gypsy is (whatever that might be), I cringe remembering the way they were at first, but they were the start of what I have now.

I like villains in movies (especially the evil genius type) and 27 is my lucky number. Plus, it’s the name I have on all my other online accounts, imdb, deviantArt, TVtropes, etc, so it just makes it easier to keep them all straight.

The first part of my username is actually a part of my name in real life. I went through a whole bunch of different online name changes, but I’m sticking to this one forever because it really represents me. And I guess the “chii” at the end kind of shows how naive, innocent and shy I can be at times.

Hahaha I don’t have any great story behind my username, I just love EVE and decided to use it as a second name of mine! :stuck_out_tongue:

And thanks to this forum thread, I totally just realized that I match with WALL•E!

Well, I really loved the blimp, the song and the idea behind it, so I choose Spirit of Adventure.

Besides, that’s the name which I gave to my car, becauuse I purchased it May 29, 2009, the same day I saw UP.

That’s a crazy epic name for a car!

Yes! If I had bought it a year before, it would be called the Axiom 8D

Well, my former ubiquitous name and current YouTube name, m40ev, was the result of “I’m going to mash my hand on the keyboard and see what comes out.” It was when I was about ten and couldn’t come up with a username for the Lego website. I kept using it until recently when I branched out in usernames and then brought them back together with my new net identity: Live From Arkham, also known as LFA or, more often, Arkie. This is the second site I’m on where I’ve used Arkie instead of Live From Arkham. Arkham is an asylum in the Batman 'verse and I really like Batman. The “Live From” part came about one day when I overheard a bit of Saturday Night Live and I thought “what if it was live from Arkham instead of New York? That would be much more entertaining.”

Also, Neil Patrick Harris sings a great song which is kind of about Arkham in a way in Batman: The Brave And The Bold called Drives Us Bats. Mayhem of the Music Meister for the win!

I wish I owned a car so I could name it Velocipod or Omnidroid or something…

Edit: I also recently discovered that Arkie is an anagram of my real-life first name. Huh.

I choose nice_ascost_21 because kens ascot is awesome and nice. haha. And 21 is my number for when I play sports.(: and just because i love that scene from Toy Story 3 when ken and barbie meet!

Chopperface is the nickname for the character Dinobot from the series Beast Wars: Transformers. Dinobot was a warrior with a strict code of honor, and was about the most well-written and deep character in Transformers history. He was even inducted this past year into the official Transformers Hall of Fame at Botcon 2010!

Well, I chose gleefan1 because

1: Thats my Club Penguin name and Moshi Monsters name and other things
&
2: I like glee and i’m a fan and I’m number ONE!

I chose mine because I’m a big fan of Barbie and Ken. I love them together and love them as individuals

I always liked Kevin from Up, but I didn’t want to be called “Kevin”, and there’s a whole background story with the name “Snipe”, so it just seemed like the obvious choice.

It’s a catchy username, Snipe!

Evil_Genius_27: You have a dA account? What do you have uploaded on there?
