What's your Favorite TV Show?

The Apprentice has

just started again! Oh, it feels so good for it to be back. I can’t wait to start really getting to know the new

hopefuls.

I used to be into The Apprentice,

but afer Mr. Trump badmouthed Roise O’Donnell, I haven’t even bothered to watch it.

Aww man ! I hate those box-and-whisker plots ! I got a 79 on a

test about it … not good . At least a get a break from it for a while … next stop : geometry !

I’m a big fan of shows that have already ended for some weird reason . My fav so far is

Friends . You gotta love " The One With Ross’ Sandwhich " . So funny

!

" You ate my sandwhich ?! "

Here’s something. What’s

your favorite game show?

Reality shows aside, my favorite game show

would have to be a toss-up between Jeopardy! and Who Wants to be a

Millionaire. Here’s a little piece of trivia for you: The last time someone won the top prize in

the U.S. version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire was 2003, when Nancy Christy

became the first woman ever to win a million dollars in an American game show. It’s kind of irritating that

it’s been that long…

Before I went to university, I watched the Game Show Network regularly, so I can

certainly be considered an avid game show fan.

I like Jeporday too. I still don’t think anyone will ever come close to beating Ken

Jenning’s record 74 apperances, but you never know…

Bill - Oh gosh, I was so

disappointed when Ken Jennings finally lost. I thought he would be on the show forever…as he was so good.

Jeopardy is also my favorite game show, with Wheel of

Fortune and Who Wants to be a Millionare? following and second and

third respectively. See, Jeopardy tests your knowledge

and wit, so you learn while you have fun.

I wasn’t too disappointed at the time, because I actually thought (at the

time) that he was somewhat cocky… But afterwards, after reading a few articles about the guy, I realized that

he’s not a cocky person at all. I think it will be very hard for anyone to surpass Mr. Jennings’

Jeopardy! record. The closest any Jeopardy! player ever

came to his record was 19 wins in a row, by a grad student named David Madden. (Note, however, that Ken

Jennings’ 74-game winning streak is not a record if

all game shows are considered. Ian Lygo from the U.K. won 75 games in a row in this

game show called 100%. The odd thing is, he never actually lost a game - the

producers asked him to quit as an undefeated champ for some reason.)

Did any of you see the Ultimate

Tournament of Champions that they held a couple of years ago? Brad Rutter completely owned that

tournament…

Will any of you watch

the new competition show On the Lot ? I sure will, it’s executive produced by Steven Spielberg after all.

Here’s the website:

www.thelot.com

You can watch a video with Steven and Mark Burnett

talking about the show. Check it out.

I have recently drawn myself to watching old Nickelodeon game shows. Anyone rembered

these? Also, I watched some of Disney’s old shows when I was growing up.

Oh yea, I remember Double

Dare being one of the messiest game shows out therre!

I loved Nickelodeon Guts and

Global Guts. And who could forget Legends of the Hidden Temple?

Did

anyone else see the primere of the new comedy sketch show, Thank God Your’e Here ? I could not believe how

funny it was. Take my advice: watch it. Oh, and Dave Foley (Flik from A Bug’s Life) is the judge. Now do I have

your’e attention? And each winner gets a nice trophy too.

Bill - Dave Foley is the judge?! Oh man, what channel is this

show on?

NBC, Monday nights at 8:00 and 8:30 as far

as I know.

Channel 4

Here’s the Wikipeida

article.

Bill - Thanks, Bill! Oh

gosh, I have to watch this. Dave Foley is my favorite Pixar voice actor…

You’ll die

of laughter  I was cracking up

Thank

you for the information Bill. I will be sure to check it out next monday.

You should! Jason Alexander will be on the

show next week!

Okay Bill. I will do

my best. Hopefully, I will be in for a treat.
