Good question.
I always wondered that as well. I guess since Pluto was just a pet rather then one of Mickey’s friends. Not too sure.
Where are the pet mice and pet ducks?
I don’t get how mice and ducks would be classified as pets. Anyway, I’m not really too sure why they didn’t make Pluto talk.
I get ducks but People do have pet mice.
I always thought it was strange that Mickey had a pet dog, and at one point a pet cat.
Yeah, that is really strange! I think in that way, a lot of those characters are strange. There are dogs who act like humans and dogs who act like dogs, who are pets to mice who act like humans!
Agreed, but this happens in a lot of cartoons actually. Such as “Arthur”. He has a pet dog, but he is an aardvark. And to make things more weird, I believe there are larger dogs on the show who can actually talk.
I agree as well. It feels strange to me that they make films and television shows that have the entire cast as animals and stuff like Arthur. I believe in that show there were characters who were dogs and they talked. Arthur’s dog did talk in some of the later episodes.
You’re right. And then only the baby could understand him. That made even LESS sense! I’m fine with an animal cast, just don’t do things that don’t make sense like giving them pets!
Well, you forgot about some of the other pets like Athurs neighbor’s dog and the one person’s cat. It would of been weird hearing Arthur interacting with his dog if he knew what he was saying.
LOL! Well, if we are discussing fav animated characters I always loved Arthur.
I always loved Arthur. Some of the episodes actually taught us life lessons like the infamous “bleep” episode where it taught us that those types of words were bad to say. I wonder if they still air new episodes or do reruns of it on PBS.
Haven’t wathed that show in years.
I love Arthur!
They should have pet humans.
Haha! Oh the irony of that one.
They did that in family guy.
They did? Figures.
Good idea.
Well, I guess all these studios and all who make these programs all think differently when it comes to putting pets in their shows.
