Eeeee, I loved the animation shift for the Backson song!
Also, yes, the voices. I was a bit worried going in but everybody was really true to the original actors. I was esspecially surprised by how well Tom Kenny could play Rabbit, although his classic Tomā¦ Kennyā¦ness did come out a little when he yelled.
Haha, yes I was suprised by how well his performance was as well. Heās one of my favorite voice actors, and Rabbit is my favorite WtP character, so it was interesting!
Okay, so maybe it didnāt beat Harry Potter at the box office, but for those of you that did go see the film (or will see it soon)ā¦thanks for supporting! Iām glad you enjoyed the movie For those of you that enjoyed the soundtrack, itās out now for you to pick up/download.
And just want to share a video of my favorite character: Eeyore
DisneyMovies, I know you are a marketer, and not an artist or director, but I still wish to tell you personally that I thought this movie is wonderful. Lots of nostalgia! And the songs were short and sweet-the best way. Eeyoreās new voice is perfect!!
I just got back from seeing it.
It was pretty cute and the 2 kids in the theater had fun.
I must say that the Ballad of Nessie was EPIC!
It reminded me of the Pigs is Pigs short with the railway worker and the guinnie pigs. But mix it up with the Reluctant Dragon.
So yes, get there a bit early so you wont miss it.
The movie is good to, especially for the kids on these hot hot days.
I saw it yesterday. I thought it was the cutest thing Iāve seen in a long time, although Kangaās voice sounded odd. I was so happy there was so much of O wl because heās my fav.
I was a bit dissapointed that the movie didānt have Gopher.
I know heās not a huge part of the cast, but he was still there in some of the storiesā¦
I just got back from seeing it. Anyone who likes the original Pooh vignettes will love it! I kept grinning. Visually beautiful. I loved it whenever Zooey Deschanel sang, she has such a down-to-earth tone that matches Winnie the Pooh perfectly.
Itās not trying hard to be a grand, hugely satisfying movie, just a simple, sweet film youāll enjoy, and the same could be said of The Ballad of Nessie before it.
Ohhh, I defintely forgot all about him! Oh well. Fun fact though, heās the only character to be invented by Disney, he wasnāt in A.A. Milneās original stories.
In my review, I neglected to mention that I really enjoyed The Ballad of Nessie. Like A LOT. Iām glad they had a short in front of the film, seeing as itās very short film as it is.
I didānt know that about Gopher.
To be honest, when I was young I thought Disney made them all up!
I agree. The Ballad of Nessie took me back to when Disney was in its prime with hand drawn. The story was great asto how Loch Ness was made and Nessie herself has got to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen!
I wish I could see this movie. But my mom thinks itās a bit too much money for a one-hour ācartoonā, as she calls it. Plus, all the theaters here have already pulled it in favor of more screens for HP7 Part 2. Which, isnāt necessarily a bad thing.
Lover_of_Fiction- I never take any sentece with āAccording to Wikipediaā seriously. Also, those characters are all from spinoffs and Disney toon. I was referring to the actual WDW animation studio films.
