Would you rather...

Alan Moore.

Mutants or metahumans?

Metahumans

The Dark Knight Returns or Batman: Year One?

Batman Year One.

The Long Halloween or Dark Victory?

The Long Halloween

RIchard Moll’s Two Face or Aaron Eckhart’s Two Face?

Eckhart’s.

Nicholson’s or Ledger’s Joker?

Ledger’s. Though if the choice were given I would’ve said Hamill in a heartbeat.

Tumbler or Batpod?

Tumbler. I remember I disliked the Batpod when the first image came out, but I’ve grown fond of it.

Robin or Batgirl?

Batgirl. What can I say I’ve always found Barbara to be cute. And her whole thing doesn’t come wrapped in all the weird implications that comes with pretty much any Robin. Though I did like Carrie Kelly (the only non-screwed up character Miller has ever written)

Lex Luthor or Norman Osborn?

Luthor. The not comedic version.

Magneto or Apocalypse?

Magneto

Elfman or ZImmer/Newton Howard?

Zimmer/Newton Howard.

Comic books or movies?

Oh man. You hit me where it hurts. This is like trying to choose which arm to keep.

But if I must I’ll have to say movies. Sorry comics. I still love you!

Post or Pre-Crisis Superman?

I don’t know enough about comic books to answer that one. The previous ones I’ve been able to answer thanks to the teachings of my best friend. She’s the Master of the Comic Book Knowledge.

But I think I like more the post-crisis one.

Lana Lang or Lois Lane?

Lois Lane. There’s enough consistency across the alternate versions that I’m able to pin down a personality. Lana however seems to change every time the wind blows depending on which continuity you want to go with.

Another three-fer X-Men;TAS. X-Men; Evolution OR Wolverine and the X-Men

Again, I’m not that well versed in the matter of comic books.

Swords and sandals or Science fiction?

Oh. I thought you might have seen those shows.

Science fiction

Scorsese or Coppola?

Now you’re talking! I don’t watch a lot of TV shows either. My medium is cinema.

I like more Scorsese movies (he has more, indeed), but I like better a couple of Coppola ones.

Noir or Neo noir?

I have to admit I haven’t seen enough of either to make an informed decision. I would appreciate it if you could list some of those you find as indispensible and essential.

But I’ll go with neo-noir as I just watched Brick the other day.

Temple of Doom or Last Crusade?

Don’t worry, that’s exactly what happened to me with the comics.

Ridley Scott or James Cameron?

Forgot to answer the question. And no joke I’d still love to learn more about noir from you.

But Scott. Just a better storyteller.

Airplane or Naked Gun trilogy?
