SPACEHERO55 - First of all, youāre welcome! I would love to help you out, but, unfortunately, I will be very busy with college in a dayās time. If you ask around, however, you may find someone who would be willing to assist you with your project.
Secondly, I must side with FONY here in that I discourage ābumpingā. Iām not 100% sure if it is allowed, however, so Iāll just let the higher authorities handle itā¦
FONY - Seriously? My gosh, Iām like a magnet or something. Everybody comes to me for assistance and the like. (The same thing goes with animals, too; they act like Iām a living magnetā¦ snigger). Not that I mind it. I love helping people out. Heheh.
Youāve got this friendly aura around you Mitch. Lol, well my instincts tell me youāre trustworthy, and though I shouldnāt trust what my instincts say since itās through the internet ā¦ well, what the heck- Iām a risk taker. Itāll be the death of me, but a rather interesting death Iād hope.
I sent you a PM, finally. Let me know what you think.
FONY - Aw shucksā¦ <img src=ā{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gifā alt=ā:loves:ā title="In

Iāve got a trio of really good ideas brewing inside my head, one of which I finished writing some months ago and another of which I have just started composing. One of them is Disney/Pixar-related, but Iād also rather not post them out in public. Eheh.
Nobody on this forum is obligated to say anything, but if you make a comment like that, I feel like Iām being forced to critique, ya know what I mean? Iām just sayinā.
Ok Iām sorry for bumping, but Im just dying to know what you think of my idea. I did not mean to single you out like that PixarVixen, But I took your last critisism rather personally, which of course was a huge mistake. I know that now.
Mitch: Iād like to hear your ideas but Iām afraid Iād accidentally take some bits of it without realizing. Recently while doodling I came up with a new story, but as it has something to do with racing Iāll have to work real hard to seperate it from Cars.
At this moment I watched Stardust just today and I just filled in a huge hole in my novelās plot without actually stealing from the film. It inspired me. And I am just so freakinā happy right now, lol!
If you recall, I posted my idea of a stop-motion animation film: Tim Burtonās Alice in Wonderland , and although it is not an orginal idea, Iāve had that in my mind now for a basically a year. Iāve been considering posssible voice actors for the characters, and Iāll soon begin designing them as well (look for sketches in my Non-Pixar art thread, whenever I finally start it up) .
Distributor : Warner Bros.
This is my voice actor list so far:
Cheshire Cat - Jim Carrey
Here is the crew list so far:
Director - Tim Burton
Co - Director - Henry Selick
Screenplay - William Meunier (myself)
Executive Producers - Allison Abbate, Jeffrey Auerbach
Producers - Tim Burton, Mike Johnson
Character Designers - William Meunier , Carlos Grangel
Score and Songs - Danny Elfman
Director of Photography - Pete Kozachik
And possibly, Carrie (PV) as an additional character designer.
Mitch - Exactly. You can see how much thought Iāve put into this since I first posted about it. The idea of Jim as the voice of Cheshire Cat came to me very recently. I just thought " Of course, thatās perfect." Most of the people listed have worked with Tim before on The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride .
Actually there IS rumors on a new Alice film. Actually it may be true if I recall, as it was battled for various reasons.
Anyway. The film is going to be wellā¦the film adaptation of American McGeeās Alice. Now if nobodyās played this game or heard of it, McGeeās views are just as weird and twisted as Timās (such as Chesire being literally skin and bones, and the Mad Hatter being over 20ft tall). I think itās slatted for a late 2008 release.
Your ideas are always welcome for my film, guys. If you have any casting ideas, you know what to do. I need all the help I can get. And once again, please give me youāre feedback.
Havenāt got around to designing the Cheshire Cat yet. Hopefully, Iāll get started on it soon.
I had an idea, that was inspired by the Don Bluth animation style.
I came up with it back in 2004, but then Ratatouille came out and I realized the plot to my story was somewhat similar: A character wants to be something he canāt and needs help from other character to achieve it.
Said character is also a type of animal. Also, the other main character was tall and impossibly skinny like Linguini. I also had a strong willed dark haired female character like Colette. And it was set somewhere in England. Not France, but itās still on the same continent, soooā¦
Iām not changing it now, itās not like itāll be around anywhere but in my unfinished pile of notes any time soon.
Although my aim back then was to make some kind of generic story and try to make the characters awesome to get around it. :\ Maybe it was too generic.

I like it. Itās a cool idea, so would this be stop motion animation like Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride?
" Tim Burtonās Alice in Wonderland" yea I could see this. I also think that Tim Burtonās Wizard of Oz would also be a cool idea. In fact I really want to see a big budget animated version of Wizard of Oz or any of the other Oz stories by L. Frank Baum turned into animated films.
Tim doing a version of The Wizard of Oz ? Hmmm, that seems iffy to me . I donāt know why, there are certain elements that would work (the Witch, the flying monkeys) , but thatās about it in my opinion. Also, I donāt think that stop-motion would suit the story. But like I said, thatās only my opnion.
Forgive me for the double post. I try to avoid doing them as much as possible.

Iām flattered you would consider hiring me as a character designer, Bill. Actually, for a character design class in 2005, I decided to redesign the Jabberwocky. I referenced bosses from Metroid, but I know I could mimic Tim Burtonās style if I had to.
Jim Carrey as the Cheshire Cat intrigues me, so much that I may have something to show you next month.
Iām not considering you, PV . As far as Iām concerned, youāre hired already. Iām serious, youāve shown me that you have what it takes to go above and beyond the stars. I have never seen anything like you before.
Jim is my first and only choice for the Cheshire Cat. I thought of him instantly for the role. He loves Tim , and he actually was going to work with him on Ripleyās Believe It or Not , but Tim has unfortunately left the project.
I tried to think of actors whose voice suits the character. Most of them have worked with Tim before, and thatās a bonus, but the voice has to suit the character.
Hereās the actors who have worked with him, and the roles they did for that film:
Enn Reitel (Corpse Bride) - Maggot , Town Crier
Paul Whitehouse (Corpse Bride) - William Van Dort , Mayhew, Paul the Head Waiter
Tracey Ullman (Corpse Bride) - Nell Van Dort , Hildegarde
