Kingdom Hearts

Do any of you play this game? I love it for it’s mix of great video gaming and Disney  Will you be buying Birth By Sleep? and 358/2 Days? Do you want to see Pixar worlds in future games? Sound off below

Kingdom Hearts specialist here. Both games complete, all unlocked heh heh
Aiming to get Roxas’s on the DS now that I have one. Am aiming for Birth By Sleep, but have my own “ehs” about the PSP.
As for Pixar in Kingdom Hearts…coughs and points at sig

I knew you would be one of the people to reply to this thread! I think it would be fun to travel down route 66, or go around the world of Toy Story hopefully they decide to go to Pixar worlds in the third one, since Disney owns Pixar now

Yay for Kingdom Hearts. I’m the proud owner of Kingdom Hearts (UK), Kingdom Hearts II (US), Re:Chain of Memories (US) and Chain of Memories (German). Re:CoM is the only one I haven’t beaten yet. Maybe I’ll play it tomorrow.

And I’m really looking forward to 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep. I’m thinkng about importing the former from the US and for the latter I have to buy a PSP.

Me too! I don’t have a PSP but I’m seriously considering getting one after seeing some screeenshots from Birth by Sleep

I’ve rented and beat 1 and 2 before. I think they’re really cheesy and the story is either overly dramatic or overly silly most of the time…but the gameplay is good. I might buy the DS version when it comes out.

Oh? Did you Woody?

To me, Cars might be a mini-game area. I mean the complications of making…ahem…the playable characters into Cars is difficult enough, trying to figure out combat mechanics would just be too difficult. I think, like the Atlantica level in KH2, it will be a mini-game area, and possibly having some quicktime events.

Toy Story, now that has allot of great possibilities (pity that’s last on the list for our stories -_-)

Story-wise…it’s suggested that Square will be taking the lead in Birth By Sleep, as the main characters are…less…goofy like Goofy and Donald are. Actually I have to wonder about party members in THAT one…it may simply be one-against-all. (though I know you do switch between the three main characters).

I love KH, and again apologize for strarting a new thread about this a couple days later…I’m not really sure about the upcoming versions, I’m kinda stuck on Sora and Roxas. Besides, I don’t have a PSP or a DS or anything…

I found it to be quite annoying that Square is releasing three different games on three different consols.
A Prequel on the PSP…a midsequel for the DS…and a some-kind-of-parody-like one for the mobile (coded).
folds arms In wake of the thankful Re:Chain of Memories…I am wondering if all three of these will be eligible to be remade into PS2 versions or not.

Signuture.

King Mickey=love

I am so made I can’t get Birth Before Sleep due to my lack of PSP. Mickey looked to bad-A at the end of the trailer! Oh well. Atleast I can get 358/2.

Unsure if Mickey would be playable in BBS. As seen, Mickey is still training at the time, so he’s not as potent with the keyblade as he was in the future installment (and unsure if he can use Pearl). Though there was a screenshot of him protecting Van…maybe he’s a partner in some places.

I have a theory that they are all training togather to weild the keyblade.

Still, it’s kinda odd that in KHII only three could be a keyblade master, and in this game four can.

Also, if Square Enix does put these games on the Playastation (which I’m friggin praying they will, BBS looks awesome!) it will most definatly be PS3, which I also do not own! I need to get one.

Personally, I think the best Pixar world would be WALL-E. Robotic heartless, fighting Auto, that would be great! Also, there’s a good point about an “artificial heart,” like in TNBC world. WALL-E and EVE technically were born without hearts, how do they love?

blinks I…SUPPOSE…that may be possible…
Anyone may be possible to weild the keyblade…but weilding it RIGHT, now that’s another story. For example, Donald and Goofy are not really keybearers, though Mickey is. But it doesn’t stop them from at least wielding it to some small degree (for instance, Leon was able to hold the keyblade. Though it DID return to Sora (though a note, there’s theories of “True Keyblades”, and that the Kingdom Key is indeed one of these, while Star Seeker, Mickey’s in BBS, is not. Though Mickey’s later Keyblade, Darkside, is a true keyblade).

BBS, not KH3. Actually, like Mickey, Terra, Ven, and Aqua’s keyblades are rumored NOT to be True Keyblades. I’m unsure about the bald man (Xehanort) and his apprentice (unknown). Regardless, shrugs, as said, while they aren’t weilders of true keyblades, the three DID come across true ones, Kingdom Key,. Darkside, and Way to Dawn, and are suggestibly able to weild them. So in fact, in BBS, so far there are counted to be 5 Keyblade masters (Terra, Ven, Aqua, Xehanort, and his apprentice), and an apprentice (Mickey).

nods Same. Don’t you JUST HATE IT when you have a favorite series, and they put the first two on the same consol, then split off into different directions 0_0

Actually explore that in my fic on Pixar Planet here, though the artifical heart thing is a good referrance…that’s rather interesting…hmm…

I guess that might be right. There is a video on YouTube pointing out how many of the characters are weilding keyblades without keychains.

In the first trailor though, the one on KHII, Aqua I think picks up either the Kingdom Key or Darkside.

Which begs the question: Is Darkside “evil,” or just the opposite of the Kingdom Key? Darkside is supossed to be the Relm of Darkness’s keyblade, a dark counterpart to the KK.

The whole true/false keyblade thing I’m unsure about (though SOME significance is made for it in the secret scene you unlock in KH2, with a graveyard of keyblades without chains (Kingdom Key, Darkside, and Way to Dawn are the only ones with keychains). It’s suggested that there is a true keyblade for each of the four “shades”.
Kingdom Key: Light
Darkside: Dark
Way to Dawn: Dawn.
Which of course leaves the dusk Keyblade (though I weild it in my KH fic ^_^).

I think you might be confused with BBS and 2/352 (can’t recall exact figures on the title). In Roxa’s game, for the DS, the hidden 14th member of the organization, Xion, is weilder of the Kingdom Key. Though how and why is unknown…though Riku notes that it could be a fake.

It is. In fact, to show that, Darkside’s colors are the inverted colors of the Kingdom Key (KK had a gold shaft, Darkside has a silver, KK had a silver boarder, Darkside has a gold boarder). It is it’s counterpart, and is the keyblade of darkness, which King Mickey found sometime during his travels (which begs the question…in the secret scene in KH2…it is thought that we are seeing the END of BBS…but then, King Mickey is weilding the Star Seeker and NOT Darkside. Which makes one wonder…is there ANOTHER chapter between BBS and KH1 (recall, BBS is ten or so years before the events of Kingdom Hearts), that explains how the king acquired it?)

You guys are making my head hurt! The KH Saga is such a large one, that I try not to let it swallow me whole. I just found out a lot about 358/2 Days (I do not want to associate myself with BBS.) and I’m seriously considering getting a DS. By the way, do you guys know why it’s called 358/2 Days? What does that mean?!

(“)_(”)

358 is how many days Roxas, the main character of this interequal (between sequels), was in Organization 13.
Now, you’ll notice this is seven days shy of a full year. But those seven days are when Roxas “wasn’t himself”, the seven days being shown in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2.
So the game trails the “year” that Roxas is with Organization 13. Now…why this is 358/2. My recent guess is that the 2 signifies that the game is not only Roxas’s tale…but also of somebody else. Which leads me to suspect it’s the new character, Xion.

Oh, okay. Yeah, Xion sounds pretty sweet.

358/2 Finally has an official release date. September 29th everybody! mark your calendars

Xion does nods I’ve also confirmed with a screenshot that Xion can be a party member (and to some extend, possibly playable).
Ahh good, a release date…not TOO far off…
