Haha, yeah I figured you meant that, but I also thought you were referring to the actual "LAST" sentence - my bad, dude. 8) Mistakes among friends...
Back OT - kinda like sunlight and rain - two powerful forces of weather and nature, both having the ability to effect the world, yet completely different. Yeah, I'll get off my philosophy rant now. :P
Either way, "Flitta" rules. :D

also wanted to mention another thing. unlike many movies where the couple "grows" to like each other (which has now become a boring clique) flik [i]starts[/i liking atta, and she grows to like him.

[spoil]and the way he looks at her while building the bird? buckets of "awww"s[/spoil]

it's a well-told love story, but we'll all probably like Wall-e and EVE as a couple.

Wow, off-topic again? *shakes head* When will you guys ever learn? You behave like children! :P

Anyway, speak for yourself on the WALL-E / Eve love story - I think it'll be cute but nothing gets me like what's been around before the newbies - new films take a while to grow on me, as the classics stick in my mind forever.

Yes, to me, A Bug's Life is a classic. :D Don't hate. :P

I think I like Flik and Atta because, though they were lead roles, they really didn't seem like a potential couple in the beginning, but as the movie went on, the subtle attractions between them began to show, and I found it cute. x)

Aren't we all children? ;-D

Flik and Atta's relationship looks somewhat similar to Newt and Brooke's relationship, no? Flik and Atta seem to be just friends, and I hope they're not really a couple...it just looks like it wouldn't work out.

But i could be wrong.

Well, no actually, I'm an adult, though I admit I act childish. That statement sounded mean earlier, but seriously ... :P

And who the ... nevermind. Don't wanna go off-topic. :P

I never liked their relationship much - since I was a child at the time, still at the point where 'boys are icky!' but now I find it cute. Maybe because I found Flik adorable, despite how much his overly-cheery attitude annoys me to pieces.

I personally call them "Attik" no matter how weird it sounds.

BDD - We all have our personal pet names for our favorite couples. This one is just a bit tricky since it's not the most popular one.....HMMM, maybe "Alik" would work.
I've always wondered if they crushed on each other before the movie. They clearly knew each other, so maybe Flik has always had a crush (like Spiderman's Peter and MJ). Just my two cents.

If Marlin and Dory were a couple (which I don't think they are) I'd call them "Darlin". But that's off-topic. Anyway, maybe they had feelings for each other, like as we know Flik obviously had a crush on Atta. Atta might have liked him, but didn't really think as much about him because of all her stress and pressure.
