I had to pick a song from a movie for my final music project. I chose randy newman’s “strang things”. I’m not finding a whole lot of info on the song, so I was hoping you all could point me in the right direction. I mainly just need to know what instruments are used in the song and what plays harmony and melody. I know that a piano and a guitar are used, but is that all? I feel dumb for having to ask, but I don’t low what else to do…
Well, I can’t tell you much either, but I’ll give you some guesses from what I hear.
The obvious is the bass, guitar and drumset. The most prominant voice is the keyboard(s), but I don’t have any clue as to what kind is being used. Additionally, you can hear a brass section during the chorus.
