Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

Talk about Pixar's three Toy Story movies here!

I stopped by the local Toys R Us that had an extra section set up for Toy Story near near entrance today. They had a talking Jessie doll that I didn't pick up or examine much, but it looks like a new design. It's packaged like the $35 Woody doll and has the similar basic talking pull string feature. I couldn't find pics of it on the TRU or Thinkway websites, but saw this one on eBay. Keep an eye out if you're looking for an updated Jessie. If they haven't shown up already, they should be soon.

Pretty cool, but I'll hold out for the better one coming out later.
I wonder how similar to the older design this is. I never owned one myself (because really they never made a decent one).

Something about the face seems off. like the chin/jaw is too fat.

Is the hair made of yarn by the way? the ones I remember had plastic hair.

It looks to me that her hair is made of plastic.

That's a pretty cool find, but I'm holding out for the Collection version, which hopefully is a bit more accurate.

EDIT: By the way, here's another shot of the same new Jessie doll, also from eBay:

I bought Jessie for someone today. Like the others, the back of the box notes that it was created using Pixar's digital data. The hat has real stitching like the Collection Woody, but the hair is indeed solid plastic.

I noticed. I think Mr. Potato Head will be released later, possibly alongside the Toy Story 2 toys, like Jessie and Bullseye.

I had the origional Woody and Buzz dolls when i was about 5. I LOVED them, i also had the costumes, lol.

I always loved Pixar, even as a kid i would have my mother keep playing movies back to back, id watch the same movies 3 times in one day.

great collection though!

That's not a real photo. That's likely a preliminary mockup of the unfinished product, using the old Jessie doll in the new packaging, as seen above.

That's Mattel's version of the full size Woody doll, and I think that the Thinkway Collection looks MUCH better. However, this one has a phrase that is glaringly missing from the Thinkway version: "Somebody's poisoned the waterhole!"

No. It is not a real photo. Look:

Real product from eBay:

Photo mockup, which has the exact same packaging:

Besides, this photo looks much flatter and more unrealistic, besides using the 1999 Jessie doll, which is why it is NOT a real photo of the product.

Came accross this Ham just now.
http://www.disneystore.com/new-arrivals ... 185/59518/

This isn't the one we saw in the one picture was it? Dont think this is even from Thinkway. Hope its not the only one planned, because the jaw is articulated, making it inaccurate. which is a shame, because otherwise it seems pretty spot on. just not sure about the size.

I find it funny though that they would make Ham's jaw articulated, and not Rex. Its so backwards.
