I thought it was cute, even if it went a little overboard on cuteness.
And I would’ve preferred it if they’d done it in 2-D animation.
Also, I don’t see how the Tinkerbell in the film is the same Tinkerbell from the Peter Pan movie. Since they have another one coming out, perhaps they’ll have her develop a bit of a temper.

Though I don’t really like Peter Pan (movie) that much, I actually really like this. [Maybe, that’s because I like Tinker Bell herself.<img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and
Wink" />] This movie is simple, yet beautiful. I think I’m looking forward to watch the other 3 Tinker Bell movies in the future as well.

I kinda liked it, but I just sometimes forget this Tinker Bell is the same one I saw years ago. She just doesn’t seem right- maybe it’s her attitude, or maybe I’m just used to her expressing her feelings without talking.
Yeah, me, too. I think she looked better in 2-D. And so would the other fairies.
Also, I would have preferred them show how Tinker Bell met Peter Pan. Why did she leave the other pixies to join a group of Lost Boys? Why doesn’t she show her talent of tinkering in the Peter Pan movie? What connection is there between this film and Peter Pan? I hope the future sequels (though I might get bored of them) would answer these questions.

That part just got stuck in my head randomly.
What irks me, though, is that even the Disney sequels and prequels are turning to 3-D animation (though the first movies were 2-D), and disguising themselves as “original” films.
Like now on Playhouse Disney you got 3-D Winnie the Pooh, though now called something else. And with the exception of The Princess and the Frog, they just don’t seem to be working as hard with animation nowadays.

Anyway, I like these movies. I think Secret of the Wings is the best, and way better than the others. Honestly I don’t like Tink in the movie Peter Pan, so I don’t really care that some people say they changed her personality. They really didn’t, though, if you think about it. She gets mad all the time! And she was only so upset(stupid and annoying) in the movie Peter Pan because she was jealous of Wendy. Just a thought. People should give these movies a chance.
Honestly, I’m surprised they haven’t just come out with a tv series at this point. I’m not saying the movies are suffering from The Land Before Time sequel-itis, but a lot of the plots to these movie I’d mostly expect to see in a tv show rather than in movies.
They are rather simple plots. But then again an epic with fairies might be a little bit too silly.

They could make it more of a fantasy world. Really Secret of the Wings could have been bigger imo. I think it had the strongest plot.
I do think in terms of saving money while still pushing your franchise that they should put this on tv.
I’m going to be watching one film a day the week of Planes so that I can see how Disney Toon Studios is doing. I have yet to see what these films are like.
Watch them in order, the more recent two are better than the first two.
That was exactly my plan. 
Excellent! Secret of the Wings was very easy to enjoy, but don’t expect a lot. Though I doubt anyone would expect anything from these films, and that’s the problem.
I only expect one thing from any film to the same degree: to like it. If I don’t, I don’t think it’s good. It makes my job a lot easier, and also makes me want to avoid the internet from ruining my innocence as much as possible. 
The internet does have a way of tainting one’s personal opinions. I used to really like some things that I just can’t take seriously anymore.
Some of it’s understandable, but other things just go way too far, as much as I wish that wasn’t true. 
So far in the Tinker Bell film line-up, we have:
Tinker Bell (2008, theatrically released in Mexico)
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (2009, theatrically released in Argentina)
Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (2010, theatrically released in the U.K.)
Secret of the Wings (2012, theatrically released in the U.S. for a limited time, also the first one in 3D)
And “Pixie Hollow Games”, a 2011 TV special on the Blu-Ray of Secret of the Wings and now standalone DVD/Digital Copy. That is all I have yet to see.
I’ve enjoyed watching these films on Netflix, but two more are on the way! First up is…The Pirate Fairy! Here’s the trailer:
