Art of Ratatouille, Limited Edition

So who’s the number 1 Pixar collector here? heheh

This has got to be the most extravagant Pixar collection ever. It features a hand written letter by Brad Bird, the director. Included in the box are 5 limited edition prints autographed by the artists.

This is really for the serious and professional collectors. Amazing. It’s out of reach for me. Besides, I already have the artbook, which was great, and also did a review with pictures.

It’s retailing at US400, selling at US300 on amazon.com and someone apparently got it at US175 from another dealer on amazon.com.

Here’s the product page from the amazon

Below are pictures from amazon.

I’d pay 400 $ just for the print of Ego’s room

I noticed you have Ego’s room at the bottom of your blog.

:smiling_imp:

that one was included in the 21.90 € of the DVD :stuck_out_tongue:

You can’t imagine what i’d give to have all the “Art of …” !!

“crying” :`-(

Woah. That’s like…extreme. The ultimate Ratatouille fan’s item.

Someone on here has got to buy it.

I bought a used copy last month. Was missing 3 of the prints so I returned it. Will likely try again in the near future.

Speaking of expensive Pixar stuff, there’s currently an Art of Monster’s Inc, signed by John Lasseter and Peter Docter on eBay. (with great doodles too!) Too rich for my blood though.

To my knowledge, this collector’s set has been available for purchase for quite a while. Although I have the heart to buy it, I don’t have the dough, the latter of which I must save up for my college tuition. (sigh)

I’d love to own something like that, though…! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Yep. Can still get them, so I guess it didn’t sell well. Hence, no Art or Wall-E Limited Edition. :frowning:

Fett101 - Man, that’s a bummer. I bet a limited edition of the Art of WALL-E would have been pretty impressive. From what I’ve seen of the concept art for that film, I’d buy the set just for lithographs of that… if such a set ever existed. Heh.

So I ordered this used about a month ago and received a copy missing 3 prints. I’ve since sent that one back and received a full set. Holy moly is it worth it! Especially considering I bought it for just $125. Here’s a copy of the note from Brad Bird for those curious to what it says. It’s not actually handwritten, unless he’s has the amazing ability to exactly duplicate each note.

I can take pictures of the packaging if anyone is interested.

Fett101 - Wow. Way to go, Brad! Give credit to the artists who rely on the good ol’ fashioned pencil and paper method.

Thank you very much for sharing that with us, Fett101! Sweet deal, too, getting it at $125.00. Not bad.

That’s such a cool little note. Thanks for showing us that, Fett101. And Remy as the ‘i’ in ‘Pixar’ is amusing.
