Oh, wow! They're all so great! My favourite would be the first one. It took me a few times to read it and get that you were meant to read it in the James Bond fashion, but I cracked up when I got it. You have a real knack for injecting humour into your sigs, Andre. I also love the "Licensed to Clean" one, heheh. So cute. M-O will clean ya to death, but not much more, I don't think... WALL•E looks so helpless in the last sig, awww. And the caption matches EVE protectiveness perfectly. Keep up the great work!

Have you ever made graphics and signatures before coming to Pixar Planet? Because you have skillz, dude. 8)

Nice work, thedriveintheatre! I wouldn't automatically put WALL-E and Quantum of Solace together, but your signatures work really well! I especially love the 'The name's E...WALL-E' one, and I like the simple, clean fonts that you use. Very cool!

Those are so cool/cute! I especially like the third one, and fourth one. Great match with the characters. And the "Arm yourself!" one is neat, too. Oh, and the "Her Bad Side is a Dangerous Place to Be", WALL-E looks so cute, cuddled up almost into a box, and EVE looks awesome and tough, like she's a bodyguard or something. Sweet siggys there, thedriveintheatre! :D

Thanks for the compliments, ladies! 8)

That caption was the License to Kill tagline, except I've changed the possessive pronoun "His" to "Her".

Haha, as a matter of fact, no! Hallow's Eve was the first batch I've ever done for a forum before! I'm learning fast though... thanks for the kind words of encouragement.

No one would, guess I'm the only one 'crazy' enough to do so! :P

I like the simple, clean fonts that you use.

The font is Century Gothic, which was used in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace's titles. I thought the third one with Eve against the desert background, looked like it could've come straight from the QoS poster! :D

Seems like you both like the first one... but now it's a time for a change! I'll be going though the entire series every day for the next (remaining) four days! ;)

Here's my latest sig advertising my next upcoming feature; Quantum of Bolt! In celebration of the release of the two biggest films of the holiday season, Quantum of Solace and Bolt in Singapore and the U.S., The Drive-In Theatre will be creating its very first trailer dub! Featuring footage from the animated Disney motion picture Bolt to the audio from the Quantum of Solace trailer, this latest spin on the Bond franchise promises to be fully awesome!

It might be just be, but your siggy looks like a combination of Bolt and the Incredibles if you ask me TDIT. I love it still. Really cool.

Woah, that signature is so... orange! Nah, just kidding. But that is very bright and grabs people's attention, which is what you want it to do. Looking forward to that Bond/Bolt crossover. And the background on your YT page is very appropriate, and nice choice for your user image. Kitty cats rule! =D

It looks very neat and professional, thedriveintheatre. I'm not a big fan of Bolt, but your signature is certainly eye-catching and, once again, I love the way you've combined two totally different movies together. :D

It looks exciting in neon, fiery colors. Very bold looking. :D

Just wondering... Do you take requests? Because I can't make graphics, and would love a winter-ish pic of EVE with a caption that says, "As Unique as a Snowflake" or "As Cool as Frost" or something like that. :D Please?

TSS: Well, you might say that. The red colour scheme does seem reminscent of it, I might admit. ;)

Totally! 8) Glad you liked it! I'm aiming for a Christmas release, so stay tuned...

*In Will Smith fashion* This is what I do! :D Haha, thank you for you kudos!

BDD: Thanks for the 'complees'!

I've PM'd you regarding your request, but in summary, I'm deeply honoured, and yours has been my first online request for anything ever! (And by extension, my first sig request) Thank you, and I hope to get it done soon! :D

Christmas EVE Sigs!

Postby thedriveintheatre » Tue Dec 23, 2008 4:31 pm

Greetings everyone! The Drive-In Theatre is back again, and in celebration of the festive season, we're proud to present to you our newest series of Wall-E Christmas-themed signatures: Christmas EVE! (I know, it's like Hallow's EVE... I've gotta be more creative, anyone got better ideas? :P)

Feel free to use any of these sigs, just be sure to credit me. Comments much appreciated! :D Happy holidays everyone!

P.S. The last two were fan requests by Bright-Dot-Dasher. I dunno, I thought I could have done better, but this is the first time I'm playing with the Photoshop effects to create the 'icicles' and 'snow' in the respective sigs. Gah... I hope you like them, BDD! :)

Those are so cool, thedriveintheatre! (Excuse the bad pun.) I really like the 'Merry Kiss-mas' one, and the look on EVE's face in the 'as cool as frost' one is so funny. The snow in the last one is really good- I like how it looks all blurred as though it's actually moving. Nice work!

Thank you for the kudos, lizardgirl! I got the idea from an magazine editor's column describing a kid's innocent mispronounciation of "Christmas" (But isn't that what it's about? Warm kisses and hugs from loved ones? ;)), and I thought that Wall-E's space walk would match the pun perfectly!

EVE's cold expression in the Repair Ward scene was the closest I could get to BDD's request. Of course "cool" could also mean "awesome", but I chose to interpret as EVE's unemotional ignoring of WALL-E (Hence, the icicles). Poor him, he got framed!

I learnt the snow effect from this tutorial. I actually didn't think it turned out that great, but if you say it looks good, I'm deeply humbled! Thanks! :D

thedriveintheatre- Well, seeing as my attempt at making snow would probably involve a series of diagonal white lines drawn in Paint, then yes, your snow is very good. And you're welcome.
