Exclusive Pixar Planet WALL•E Hypersuite Review

WALL•E Hypersuite review

Greetings, fellow Pixar Planeteers!

Lately I’ve had the privilege of trying out a copy of the brand new WALL•E Hypersuite by the folks from The Skins Factory.

A hypersuite is a complete desktop theme, in this case customized to suit all of your WALL•E needs.

The hyperdesk control panel allows you to have the best of both worlds. Feel free to match or mix your skin and icon set to create THE desktop of the 2800s…err…2008.

Each of the 4 hyperthemes exhibits the charm of the character it represents and embraces your desktop with futuristic appeal. Even my Photoshop and Winamp plugin received the magic touch.

At first I was drawn to the “EVE” skin for its clean simple design and soft neon highlights, and although the “Buy n Large” skin is similar, it carries the Buy n Large company logo and replaces any blue with red.

Both the “WALL•E” and “WALL•E 2” skins possess the distinguishing rusty exterior or our favorite robot, while “WALL•E 2” is partially gray.

Converting to the WALL•E Hypersuite means growing accustomed to new icons representing various folders and file types, but it’s all part of “the ultimate desktop transformation experience”. Who wouldn’t want M-O as their recycle bin? Am I right?

A total of 18 high-definition wallpapers depict characters, environments, and scenes from the film. However, those who don’t own a widescreen monitor miss out on the full effect.

Not even Windows Media Player skips a beat undergoing the hyper transition.

My only complaint lies within changing settings. Opening the hyperdesk pre-selects the default setting for installation for all of the features, so I must reselect my options every time.

I actually feel proud to be a Windows user after applying the WALL•E Hypersuite. Like the Buy n Large jingle says, it’s got “all you need and so much more”!

I wish to thank Founder and CEO Jeff Schader for giving me the grand opportunity to review such an outstanding product.

That’s absolutely incredible. I didn’t even realise that there were such things as ‘skins’ that you could buy to completely transform your desktop, let alone a WALL-E one!

It looks so good. I love the two really contrasting styles, and M-O as your recycle bin? I want it! It says that they’re designing Vista skins and that they’re coming soon, so I’m happy to wait and just bookmark that page.

Thanks for showing us that, PV.

This looks REAL•E cool. Thanks for showing us, PV! I have a little geek inside of me that celebrates whenever i see things like this.

…My hand is shaking. This is just that awesome. Woah…

Well, so much for any considerations of switching to Linux. XD

wow, i didn’t even know there were such things as this, where your whole desktop and stuff transforms into one theme! that’s really cool that you got to try it out!

hahaha, yess, the M-O recycling bin is definitely awesome! that is soo cute :]]
i don’t how much these things cost usually, but 15 dollars doesn’t sound bad!

also, I LOVE YOUR AVATAR THING ON YOUR SIGNATURE!! that is so awesome, and I love Dash!

That’s so interesting! I’ve always wanted to try out a new theme for my desktop and a WALL-E one would be a cool one to start with. We’ll see…

This looks very official, high-quality and beautiful to look at, too. I’ve never heard of a Hypersuite before, what a neat idea! I don’t think I would use this particular product since it would be a bit too distracting for me, but they’ve really done the movie justice. Nice review, PV. =)

Wow, that’s beyond awesome, Pixar Vixen! I love that wallpaper of Eve pointing her gun at the screen, it’s Bad-synonym for butt!
And M-O as the Recycle Bin? Pure genius.
Gotta get me one of those…

I may create a WALL·E Windows theme for myself, by patching resources.

wow pretty impressive

Cool! Is there going to be a version for Macs? An eMac computer is what I have.

Cool app. Great review, PV. Thanks! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

I would definitely buy it if I had Windows.

I wish they had something similar for Macs. The most you can really do with a Mac, though, is change your icons so they are Wall-E-related (I did that for my iPod icon), change the background, and download a theme with Wall-E-ish colors.

$15 for that? :open_mouth:
A bit expensive for a couple of pictures. I’ll save that money for the WALL-E three-disc DVD coming out in November.

That is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life…

I missed out on the special offer, but I just might buy this thing in the future. (snigger)

Thank you very much for the information, PV! I never even knew about that website until now.

Woooaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The picture of EVE holding up her gun should appear on the security settings window.

I love this, I wish I had money, lol. I was actually looking for Pixar icons n cursors to revamp my laptop. Couldnt find anything good except for 2 MO icons I used for my recycle bin. But they should do this for all their movies. I could go for a Toy Story desktop theme.

Me and my sis are getting the WALL•E Hypersuite (combo WALL•E/EVE pack) for her birthday… I hope it comes in soon! I am so uber excited…!!!

little chef

Those look really cool! What they have are quite creative!
