ellie-jessie-eve's drawrings

Yes, I spelt drawings wrong. For purpose! It’s an inside joke. But yeah, this is my art thread. I hope you enjoy.

This is a drawing I did with sharpees. It’s of Silent Film stars of the Roaring 20s. I hope you all recognize a couple faces.

Here’s a caricature of Mae West

And another one of Eddie Cantor

I’ll add more at a later date

Wow, these are awesome!! I appreciate most that they are caricatures rather than life-like tracings. And is the drawrings related to British accents?

Very nice work! I love the first one that is all 20’s style!

Those are good. I like the first one a lot. I need to update mine.

Thank you so much guys!

Hahah, well there is this old Mike Meyer’s sketch on SNL from the 90s, and he says ‘Drawrings’. So my friend and I call drawings ‘drawrings’

Thank you again guys, I’ll be sure to update.

I love love love the silent film star drawings! They’re so cute, and it’s fitting that they’re black and white.

Lovely work on the silent stars, and with Sharpies yet! Mae West is great, especially the hat–thank you for sharing.

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments!

Here’s silent film star Louise Brooks:

Ooh, very pretty!@

Thank you!

Nice. Who is she?

Thanks. No one certain, just a sketch.

Silent film Star Clara Bow:

Two great directors and actors: Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton

That side view on Clara is amazing!

Thank you so much! I liked how that one turned out too, usually I don’t.

Here’s a few more guys:

The Queen Mother:

Bette Davis

The Talmadge Sisters (Natalie, Constance, Norma)

Random Woman

Victorian Woman
