While heroes and villains grab viewers’ attention in Pixar films, it is often the minor characters who win their hearts. They might not be the stars of the show, but their kooky personalities and unique charm make them unforgettable. What could be more lovable than a bouncing baby, a forgetful fish, a dopey dog, a ravenous rat, or a brave bug?

Interesting thread, Blessed Light! For me, it was between M-O and Kevin (yay for predominantly non-speaking characters!) but I had to go with M-O as he makes me laugh probably the most out of all Pixar characters. Plus he ends up playing a strangely important role by the end of the film and without him, WALL-E wouldn’t have been the same.

Dory isn’t exactly a minor character. She might even have more screen-time than the title character.

I’d have to say, out of all the characters on that list, Kevin is my favorite. She’s my second favorite Pixar character of all time, and the one I find the funniest. Her babies are just too cute for words! <3

That was such a hard poll, there are so many I like!

I voted Guido & Luigi, because they crack me up!
I also really like M-O, Emile, Boo, and Dug.

As a single character, Dug is my favorite: he’s not just cute and funny, he’s brave and loyal and just completely lovable. The “hiding under your porch” line still gets me every time.

But, as a group, I don’t think Pixar has ever topped the Circus Bugs in A Bug’s Life. Right off the bat, you get all their distinct, individual characters, and you see how they are a “family,” this motley crew that hangs together through thick and thin (mostly thin). Arguments could be made in favor of “Andy’s Toys,” but for me, the Circus Bugs just really stand out as how to do a “supporting ensemble.”

Dug, Kevin, and Boo all come a close second though. They’re also cute and funny!

I voted for the Flea Circus, because they are just great and help make A Bug’s Life so good, but I also would have liked to vote for M-O. He is my favorite character in Wall-E!
