Up - MAJOR plot points leaked

In the “Up” video game summary on Amazon, they “accidentally” leaked some important parts of the movie’s plot.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLICKING THAT LINK OR READING THE SPOILER IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!! ABOUT HALF THE PLOT!!!

Become a Heroic Jungle Explorer Journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America, in Up the video game. You can control Russell, Carl, Dug the talking dog and a female bird named Kevin, or you can play with a friend through the entire game. Aided by Russell¿s wilderness knowledge, the four characters must work together to navigate treacherous jungle terrain, combat exotic animals and avoid being captured. Each character has special abilities that help in their journey. During the game, you will explore exciting environments, overcome obstacles and battle beasts in an effort to stop Muntz from capturing Kevin.

Apparently, Muntz was Ellie’s childhood hero. What caused him to turn? The dog chase also sounds like something from the movie, considering they meet a dog at some point. Also, the names of the dog (Dug) and bird (Kevin) recently revealed on the “Art of Up” cover are revealed. Muntz is, for some reason, trying to capture Kevin. Maybe she is an extremely rare bird?

Once again, sorry if you regret clicking this!

It’s tempting, very tempting…But I shall resist. For now.

Thanks for telling us about this though, Bryko614. Is this description still up on Amazon? I feel sorry for whoever accidentally comes across it and doesn’t want to be spoiled. Are Amazon allowed to do this, to release such detail about a film?

The description is still there. Hopefully they remove it, they probably didn’t realize what they were doing by putting it up.

I’ll never read it, not after I spoiled myself silly for Ratatouille! No, I shall resist.

Buying the game before seeing the film usually spoils it for one’s self, as I think I’ve learned with a game or two …

LOL, I remember reading some of the Ratatouille description on Wikipedia and kicking myself later.

Buuuut yes, I resisted this. Sometimes I like knowin gthe ending, sometimes I don’t.

Thank you Bryko614 for putting the spoiler warning and putting spoiler tags over the section (others here haven’t).

To those who are resisting… you are strong, and have chosen wisely.
Reward yourselves by watching “Monsters Inc” again…

Huh, Amazon deleted the product page. Well, you heard it here folks!

I didn’t read it, but at least it was copied and pasted here (and elsewhere) for those who would like to know. I love the Internet, and Internet flubs. =)

I didn’t read it either, but I’m probably going to buy the game before I see the film anyway. I do that with almost every Pixar movie, unfortunately, since I absolutely love spoilers. For the moment, however, I shall resist.
