Who’s going to be doing the music for Up? I hope it’s Randy Newman.

This will be his third PIXAR film, his other two being The Incredibles, and Ratatouille. His music is amazing, and I think that it will fit the adventure style well, and also be able to be very emotional, like his scores in the past.
Randy Newman, who scored Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc. and Cars for PIXAR, has a very different style from Michael Giacchino, as does his (cousin?) Thomas Newman, who scored Finding Nemo and WALL•E. PIXAR has always chosen their composers well for each of their movies, so that their unique styles can add the most to the films. I trust that Michael Giacchino will do an outstanding job for them yet again.

I don’t know how Giacchino’s score for UP will be, but because he did such an amazing job on Ratatouille I can tell he’s going to to an amazing job on UP.
