Does Ellie in Up have a connection with Ellie Docter?
She does. Her younger self is voiced by Elie Docter, and all of the kid-like drawings in the adventure book and credits were done by her. (and some of the stuff in her clubhouse)
Is the name just a coincidence? Because I think Elie Docter is actually Elizabeth, and according to the Art of Up, the character Ellie was originally Eleanor. It’s neat to read about Elie D.'s artistic contributions in the art book.
