I'm completely over Transformers now, no longer interested in it as I used to be when I was younger.

I've detested the film franchise since the second film. Now I don't even care about the first.

I enjoyed the first when I was younger, but as I grew older, the more I realized it was 85% explosions, 10% story, 4% acting, 1% quality.

Wow! Did you just review the next Ninja Turtles movie? 8D
If Michael Bay stuck with the original designs, it might have made the film less painful to watch. Some guy went into Photoshop and fixed Leonardo's face:

Honestly, the 2012 Nickeleodeon version of TMNT does a lot more justice than what this Michael Bay garbage is gonna bring.

Well, remember that Bay isn't the director (I think he's awful, I'm not defending him), so stuff like the design isn't necessarily in his hands, unless the otherguy is a figurehead, which I don't know at this moment.

You do bring up a good point Spirit. Still, its hard to convince myself that this movie is gonna be worth watching.

I have never watched much of the original Ninja Turtles movies or series, but this new movie actually looks pretty cool. Shredder looks freaking awesome in this one.

TheSpaceSherriff: It's astounding what a world of difference that edit made. Seriously though, I don't really have hopes for the new TMNT movie, sadly. Apart from just the frightening character designs it just looks utterly soulless. :-(

On a different note, how does everyone feel about The Book of Life? I enjoy the incredibly "flat" visual style and character designs, it looks like judging by the trailer it'll lend itself to some amazing set design as well. My only concern here is that I was fairly certain Pixar (and, specifically, Lee Unkrich) were also doing a film about Day of the Dead, and now I'm just confused... :?

^ Seems pretty interesting. I wonder if the director throws in a nod to El Tigre considering he created the show. Hopefully Pixar doesn't stop production on the Untitled film about Día de Muertos. They might have a different plot revolved around the holiday though.
