TV Shows You Watch

Seeing as there is already a Movie topic, I thought I'd add the TV topic. (TA-DA!) What have you guys been watching on the ole' tube, and what do you think of it? Or, what episode or new show have you been looking forward to airing? :D

(MODs-if there's already a topic like this, just lock me up! )

I don't think there's a topic like this, so I think you're safe. ;)

I used to watch tons of TV but all I have time for nowadays is Will & Grace since it's on right before I go to bed (and I love it :D). I can't even say that there are usual shows I watch because I don't have time for TV anymore. :P

We actually did have a thread on television shows, which is now locked, so I think you're fine. :D

Hmmm.... well, here I go: The Price Is Right, Everybody Loves Raymond, Back to You, Two and a Half Men, The Simpsons, Deal or No Deal, Lost, The Tonight Show.

That's about all the shows I watch that I can think of at the moment.

FONY - I know what you mean. Final exams are rapidly approaching, so I spend more time with the books, than with the TV.

Bill - The Price Is Right - Amen! I LOVED that show growing up. I'd park myself in front of it with a bowl of Cap'n Crunch. :D It was so sad when Bob Barker left - he made that show! :(

I have my eyes on a "newer" show, Shark, with James Woods. (One of my all time favorite actors) There is a new episode tomorrow night (which I will most likely watch) but it's been kinda down lately - same ole' thing, over and over. Guess it's back to Numb3rs and CSI!

Love him. <3

Actually, exams have nothing to do with me not watching TV anymore - I rarely study at all, which isn't smart but I get by. I'll study a bit for the finals of course, but studying weeks in advance never worked for me.

My reason for not watching much TV is computer time - writing, making music videos, maintaining music videos, etc.

Though I forgot to mention I do always have time for a daily dosage of Scrubs, granted it's not a repeat. ;)

FONY - Glad to meet a fellow fan. 8)

Videos, writing, computer - happy to see you keep yourself busy.

FireFly - Same here! I grew up on The Price Is Right when Bob was hosting. It was sad to see him retire, but Drew is, in my opinion, doing a great job as his replacement, and he's the guy I actually wanted to get the job.

Humm. I watch Video on Trial, Family Guy, Futurama, What Not To Wear, Spongebob...
I actually don't watch a lot of TV anymore, so I usually only watch those shows on a rare occasion.

I do watch Video on Trial and Family Guy on my laptop a lot. =]

Let's see I do watch quite a few shows. I probably wont remember them all but I'll see what I can remember-

Family Guy
Simpsons
Big Bang Theory
Two and Half Men
Everybody Loves Raymond (Best show ever)
Fosters
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Robin Hood (BBC America series)
Root of all Evil
Futurama
Late Night with Conan
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
Johnny Bravo
Dexter's Lab
Flintstones

whew! Now I dont spend 8 hours a day watching TV but these are just shows that I watch on a fairly regular basis (and not all of them are on everyday anyway...plus On Demand helps when I only have like 15 minutes and I want to watch something)

I also realized I've been watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force a lot lately, since I keep staying up that late. It's a funny show, but not for kiddies.

lennonluvr9- My friend would love you- she's obsessed with The Colbert Report and The Daily Show.

I usually watch-

Eastenders
Coronation Street (gotta love those rubbish soaps)
The Apprentice
The Simpsons
Futurama
Neighbours
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Top Gear (when's it coming back?)
Ugly Betty (and when's this coming back?)
Anything Gordon Ramsay related- Hell's Kitchen, The F Word, etc.
Frasier (anyone else love Niles?)
Fawlty Towers
Friday Night With Jonathan Ross

There are some programmes that I watch less frequently. There was one series of Big Brother that, when it was on, I was obsessed with, but the more recent ones have been terrible. I also sometimes like to watch stuff like Film 2008 or Gamer TV, to keep up to date with the technological side of things.

Anyone have any particular programmes they hate?

I remember back in the day when I used to stay up every Friday night till midnight just to catch I'm Alan Partridge and Saxondale on BBC America. Now I watch them on youtube since they no longer air them here. :P

Recently I've been checking out French and Saunders on youtube and wondering how I ever lived life without them ...

I also love Arrested Development - my brother was crazy enough about it that he bought all the seasons, and I love it. :D

Ooo! Me! xD David Hyde Pierce is just so adorable - he's the only reason I watch it. :D

Haha! Far too many to name. xD And I wouldn't want to insult anyone.

Cool. They're both awesome shows. As for shows I hate, I can first of all say, almost any reality series.

lennonluvr9 - What, like, Survivor or The Amazing Race (or the greatest race or something - I never watch it)? If that's the case, I agree.
I watched American Idol for about 2 seasons, but it got really old really fast. I don't necessarily "hate" it, but I really don't like it.
*Hides behind chair because 30 million people are die-hard AI fans*

Yeah I hate a lot of reality shows, too. They're all the exact same in the end.
