I thought Terminator was pretty good actually, though it surely shows its age.

Christmas movies and specials are a big part of why I love the Christmas season. Christmas Vacation and Elf are my favorite full length Christmas movies.

I like those, and It's A Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Carol from 1984 with George C. Scott. I'll be watching more versions of it this year, I hope to find some new favorites.

It's A Wonderful Life is also another favorite. I have not seen A Christmas Carol (1984), but if I see it on TV I'll watch it, per your recommenation. I love A Chritmas Carol in general. My favorite adaption is the Disney version, with Mickey a Cratchett and Uncle Scrooge as Ebenezer Scrooge.

I also saw the Jim Carrey/Disney version the other night. Talk about creepy. But interesting. Not a favorite though.

The Mickey version is definitely my second favorite, but I'm seeing the Alistair Sim version soon, and I think it might be my new second favorite. I do not like the Jim Carrey version, lol. I saw it once and that was plenty for me.

Whoa! You've seen the Classic Disney version of a Christmas Carol?

I have an older version of the Disney Christmas storybook collection and it is right in there! (In storybook version, that is.)

I think that's the one we're talking about.

1983 is the year, if that helps any. I wish it was longer though. And I love the Disney cameos in it!

Actually, I prefer the friendly kind--not the destructive kind. I'd say Terminator is about as destructive as Syndrome's Omnidroid from Incredibles.
And when I say "friendly kind", I am referring to WALL-E.

Is this a good comparison to you?

UPDATE: I have a new favorite Sci-Fi movie. And this one is called The Black Hole. It's a 1979 Disney film. Already found a new favorite character from that movie--his name is Vincent.

I think Divergent will be my new favourite movie. Will anyone else watch it when it comes out?

That's a hard decision for me since I seen over 1,000 films.

Well, what can I say? So many titles in one's collection, so little time to decide on a favorite.

I think my new favorite movies, among other old favorites, would probably be Rio 2 and My Neighbor Totoro.

I think my favourite movie right now is Divergent. But it might change when I go see The Fault In Our Stars.
