Uh! Docter is good at that. Maybe he can make something as emotional as Up.

Well, look at Bonnie from Toy Story 3: I wouldn't consider her scenes in the movie to be overly "girly," but maybe neutral if anything.
I've also wondered what kind of emotions will be dealt with and how old the character will be. I'd probably be happy with any age. One could say that an older girl could be more dimensional, but younger girls would be equally fascinating to explore the motions of. Just look at Hayao Miyazaki; some of his most interesting characters haven't even hit puberty yet and yet they're full of dimension, but done in a realistic way (Mei is super young!). Even though the emotions will be "characters," I hope the rest of the story has little to no elements of fantasy, kind of like the first chunk of Up before Carl makes the balloon house.

Agreed! Like I said, I'll be happy with either.
Spirit of Adventure wrote:You've referenced another reason why I want her to be older: Pixar has already had its share of cute little girls. Want to see them attempting something different.
I don't know. I would really only count Bonnie and Boo as the significant little (human) girls, but maybe I could also consider Dot. Violet Parr and the upcoming Princess Merida are roughly teenagers. So I think the number of older and younger girls are about equal?

And yes, Violet is too old to be deemed as a little girl, but she's still a kid, so she doesn't fit in the age group I was talking about.
We don't know Merida's age so far, but she seems to not be an adult yet, so she doesn't count either.

So what exactly are you looking for, then?

I think that's a really great idea.Reaper052 wrote:Maybe the film will go through the girl's whole life, from childhood to adult.
