Paul Dooley, of course, played Sarge in the Cars films, in addition to numerous other films for the past 5 decades. Figured someone might be interested. (and yes, it has been ages since I’ve been here!)
He was at Parkersburg High School in West Virginia (where he graduated) to talk about his career and to give advice to aspiring actors in the area. My friend Will (on the left) even got him to do some of his old stand-up routines, which were hilarious. For anyone curious I’m in the Sonic shirt on the right looking creepily happy.
Cars isn’t my favorite Pixar movie by a long shot, but when he looked at me and did Sarge’s voice I pretty much freaked out. Long story short, Paul Dooley is an awesome, hilarious man.
