Non-US/Foreign Nationals Working for Pixar

Hi Planeteers,
I stumbled upon this forum while researching career options in animation for non-U.S. nationals. I have some questions that hopefully you can shed light on.

I’ve a close friend who dreams of working for Pixar one day. He did his bachelors in animation from India and has worked on several classical/2 D animation shorts of his own. He has also worked as an artist for a small animation studio in India for about 2 years. He now plans to join a post graduate program in animation; either an MFA from a US university or a Masters from a renowned Indian arts school.

My question is this:
What is the scope for a foreign national to work at Pixar or any other major animation studio in the US?
Does Pixar or other studios offers internships to students studying at non-US universities?
Do they hire international students from US universities?
Are they willing to sponsor an employees visa for working in the US?

In short, yes they do as long as you have the skills.
