Thanks, EJE! :D It was tons of fun to make, and yet extremely hard. I have him sitting next to me right now... I love him to pieces, even if he's not perfect. :P

Whoa, I had no idea you'd conversed with Bechno Kid before - I first saw their work on Tegaki. Amazing artist. And that Toothless plush?! :D Couldn't be better - I especially love the big green eyes. Definitely official-level merch.

Bechno and I have become pretty much besties. And it's weird because back when I first met her, I thought she was this kind of artist who thought she was "above" everyone cuz her art was so good (ughhh I know a few artists like that )... come to find out she's one of the sweetest, down-to-earth people I've ever met! :D I absolutely adore her work!

And I wouldn't say my Toothless plush is 'official level merch', but thanks! His eyes are probably my favorite part of him... my sister and my mom painted them in with green paint, clear glaze, and a good ol' Sharpie. :loves:

I'll have some more HtTYD arts up soon. I have them posted to my dA but not here yet. Though, those of you who actually visit my dA or watch me there see my updates, anyway. :P

That stuffed Toothless is awesome!! Why isn't there an official one? It looks store quality to me, only more special, because now it's a memory you can look back on. Very nice. :D

Well, there was an official store one... but 1) our Wal-Mart is lame and never had it when we went (we searched like madmen, too), and 2) it wasn't all that cute anyway. So we decided to make our own!

I'll definitely do it again someday, now that I've found out how much I love sewing. Only this time, I'll actually use a bigger pattern and a sewing machine to help. :P

Thank you! :)

Does DoE have one, too? It just seems like you guys would have matching ones.

No, I only bought enough material to make one, unfortunately. (I thought I had bought enough to make two... turns out I was wrong.) And after all the work it took to make that one alone, I don't think either one of us were up for it again. xDDD

I wanted to do this before the end of the year, since I'm kinda slow at posting my non-Pixar artwork here when I actually make it (I don't get enough feedback around here, so I just post it all at once ), but I never got a chance to. I really feel bad that I haven't been contributing to the Pixar fandom at all this year, but I got severely bitten by the HtTYD bug and I don't think I'm going to stop drawing fan art anytime soon.

Some of my best works since I last updated:

Sketch dump: 102110

HtTYD 'Drawing Scene'

Hiccup and Toothless flying over the ocean

Modern!Fishlegs would so be a Pokemon lover

Loki, one of my original characters

Christmas card drawing for my dA friend

(Hurr hurr mainly posting so I can put one of these drawings in for the PP Awards... xDDD)

Thank you, e-j-e! :)

Today, January 7, happens to be the birthday of one of my most favorite HtTYD OCs, Rowan Thorston! (Hahaha it's still the 7th where I am, so I'm safe! xD) I threw together a cute little scribble of him to sort of mark the occasion. :loves:

EDIT: Colored it! :D

I likes it! It's very sweet of you to make that for him! And ha, you call that a scribble? It's too good to be a little scribble!

Wow, I feel quite flattered! :loves: Yeah, he's really become one of my most favorite original characters, partially because his personality and story is the most developed out of any of the others. It just wouldn't be right for me not to draw a picture of him on his birthday! (That's another thing.... every single one of my characters have birthdays, and I write them all over my calendar!)

A few years ago, I was saying the same thing, and I'd get so jealous of people who could pop out really good drawings at lightning fast rates... now I'm doing the same thing and most of the time it feels effortless, and everyone else around me thinks it's amazing, haha. :P I really appreciate the kind words! Thank you! :D

Oh wow, this thread hasn't been touched in a while! xD

I'm not as good at drawing as my sis, but hey - this is our thread, which means I can post up some of my stuff as well. :) None of my newer works are on DeviantArt, so I can only give you what I have. (Although some of you have already seen these, it doesn't hurt to post them again, right?)

Some Mario fanart I did a while back

A huge Professor Layton sketch dump

Father/son drawings (that include some of little chef's OC's)

And finally: A HtTYD/Professor Layton crossover comic

Hope you guys like! :D

Yeah no kidding this thread has been sitting dormant for a long time. ;o;

I've been doing bits and pieces of art recently, but because I'm working it always makes it harder for me to be creative. Not all of the stuff I draw is Pixar-related, especially since I'm doing drawings of my original characters for a story I'm in the process of writing, so I thought I'd post a few things here for y'all to look at.

Some of it is writing, which I would cherish feedback on. ;u; And some of it is really old, so I'll post from oldest to newest (so you can see progress).

a sketch of the members of the band Foster The People - April

painting of Sam Bell from Moon - May

Wreck-It Ralph - November

my sister as a Sugar Rush racer, dressed as Turbo - November

Most Recent:

portrait of Roger Chaffee, Apollo 1 astronaut

a portrait of my Mars astronauts (be happy because this is literally the only time and might be the only time I ever post all their faces on the internet)

Two writing pieces: the orbiter and EVA

summary of all my art from 2012

quick sketch of one of my original characters, Altair

and finally, a bunch more sketches of Sam Bell. (ps please watch Moon if you never have just take my word for it)

Thanks for looking!! ;u;
