Yes I would love an updated list. I was so busy following along the plot and story, that I failed to find where the Pizza Planet Truck was! However, I did like their nod to Gusteau's.

Yeah, I didn't see it either! Luckily, I think I'm going to see it again on Friday. Also, I didn't find any references whatsoever in the comic.

Hey everyone! I've just glanced through this thread and I want to thank any and everyone for contributing any Pixar in-jokes that they've found! There are so many hidden - I'm sure they are a surprise to every Pixar fan!
I have been a bit busy lately on the computer since volunteering to archive the family photos, which I've almost finished, but there is no way that I will let this project go to waste.
I've already got Up on DVD and hopefully, with a lot of hinting, I will get the Toy Story 3 DVD for my birthday so that I can go through and put together some screencaps. So within the next couple of months I will get started on the list again, and keep you updated on the progress.
Has anyone seen any in jokes in Hawaiian Vacation? I didn't see any at the cinemas, but I'm sure there are some in there...
Thanks again, and keep those pesky little references coming!

I didn't catch any in Hawaiian Vacation... I may have been too busy laughing.
Speaking of Toons though, I found a couple in Tokyo Mater...
"Lug Nuts in a Cup" is on several signs before the drift race starts.

(Lug Nuts in a Cup also appears in Cars 2 in the same shot as Lightning McClean.)
And during the race, Mater ends up driving through a sushi joint. Look who's there!

Thank you for that, Netbug. That is a really cool find.
Does anyone here speak/read fluent Japanese? I may need to enlist the services of Rey-chan.

Wow just stumbled on this amazing.
Mr. Potato Head: It was cold and dark. Nothing but sand and a couple of Lincoln Logs.
Hamm: Uh, I don't think those were Lincoln Logs.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I just watched Toy Story 3 again, and found this:

I'm pretty sure a lot of the Toy Story 3 and Cars Toons easter eggs had been found before. The only thing missing is to remember all of them and add them to the list. I still have a link from last year that shows a lot of the Toy Story 3 easter eggs, so I'd suggest looking there:

Hey guys? Do references pertaining to the video games count? Because in Tokyo Mater (again), somebody pointing out on DA that one of the extra cars looks familiar...

She has the exact same paint job as Emma, a British dirt racer/ship tease with Mater from a couple of the Cars video games.
I think that qualifies as most obscure reference ever. Who knew Pixar cared about the games?

Netbug - Perhaps one day I will include references that are included in video games. But right now I have my hands full organising references for the the Pixar films and short films. I will see how things go after I've updated the list...

Hey-lo Pixar Planeteers! Just popping in to say that I am still planning on updating this in-jokes list, yes yes. I'm hoping that within the next month or so I will be able to start updating it again. I've been working on a personal project of mine...
So feel free to capture any in-jokes at all from Cars 2 on DVD, especially since I don't have the DVD yet, and post them here (you can upload it to TinyPic). That would be such a great help. Even any tips posted here would be awesome too, along with a time and description of where in the film the in-joke appears.
Thank you!
Dilinger - Thanks for that! I might use that commercial when I create an "other" category for the in-jokes list.
