So question, when do you guys think early reviews will be released for this film? I'm hoping within two weeks, but I'm just not sure. I'm so eager to hear how people receive Brave!

Not sure if/when the embargo date is, but press screenings have already begun for the movie.

This is sort of minor news, but it appears "Brave's" run time is 95 minutes.

All I know is do NOT read the Brave The Essential Guide book. Heck don't even flip through that thing! To many spoilers! On a side note, its a nice book, lots of great still images from the movie and info on the characters. But I should have known better than to read that. Now I know how the movie ends, which is not exactly a good thing.

Here the link to the book.

Here are a few more early reviews I've seen:

http://wheremoviereviewsaremade.tumblr. ... e-back-and
http://nargleinfestation.tumblr.com/pos ... g-of-brave
http://elliefredricksen.tumblr.com/post/24584555434

I'm actually surprised at how positive the reception has been so far. After those early mixed reviews, I was a bit worried. Hopefully this convinces the Cars 2 haters that Pixar isn't dead.

I skimmed them (trying to avoid spoilers) and they are so, so, complimentary. I was expecting "well, it's better than Cars 2," not "my favorite or second-favorite Pixar film." This is so encouraging.
Great. Now I have guilt!

Also, here's the podcast review we did for Brave. We spent about 35-40 minutes talking about different things about this film. It's spoiler free, but don't listen if you don't want to know anything about the movie! Just warning you! ;)
