Favourite classic Disney film?

I love The Lion King. And

Aladdin, too.

What’s your favourite?

Probably Aladdin more than any of the others, though they’re all great.

The Lion King,

definitely. Something about that film just lifted my spirits, and ever since then I’ve had the ability to run on

all fours. Number of times I’ve seen it? Over 400. (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

That is a very good question. There are a lot to choose

from, but I will say Sleeping Beauty. I just love the story and the characters too.

Aladin, fallowed up by Hercules and Beaty

and the Beast.

'nuff said.

Beauty and

Beast, most definately.

Beauty and the

Beast, definitely my favorite disney classic.

“Who put the glad in gladiator? Hercules!”

;-p

I don’t know if I’d consider Hercules to be a

classic Disney animated film, though. I mean, where do you draw the line for

classics?

~~=oP

Maybe all of the folktales

that Disney remade would be the line for Disney Classics.

My favorite classic

Disney film by far is Fantasia.

Oh, I love Hercules as well. I have had the hugest craving to watch it for the longest

time… I might download it off of iTunes…

The Lion King, with Mulan close behind. I love Aladdin as

well.

It doesn’t really matter, just

your fave Disney animated movie in general.

The Lion King definetly .

It was my first movie I ever saw in theaters too . Zazu’s my favorite character . I know "Morning

Report" ( only on broadway and special edition dvd) by heart . One day , I’m gonna have that puppet on my

hand and the bowler hat on my head , even if it is a male role .

I’m going to make a top 5 because

I can’t decide on a single one:

The Lion King
Fantasia 2000
Atlantis the Lost Empire
Alice in

Wonderland
Lilo and Stitch

SO many people love Lion King so much. But

the reason why I love it is because the music in the movie blew me away completely.

sigh the first movie I ever saw in theaters was Aladin, maybe that’s

why I love it so much shrugs and of course Hercules, it turned me into the Greek Myth buff that I am today.

basically, every Disney movie between The Little Mermaid and Fantasia 2000 are the best,

(well, except for Pochahantis… or however you spell it) All of those movies were so… so, so just

dang good!!! Fantasia 2000 has a sort of bittersweet thing to it, because it was kind of the "death

tole" of the Renassiance of Disney movies. After that Fantasia 2 masterpiece, everything went down

the drain, real quick.

(no offence to those “newbie disney lovers” but I just can’t warm

up to pyscho koala aliens and talking bears. )

FigmentJedi - Oh yeah, Alice In Wonderland is fantastic

too. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Lion King is

my top favorite, though I love Beauty and the Beast, Treasure

Planet, and Alice in Wonderland too. Can’t place TP as a classic

I’m sure, but it’s highly underrated and I wished I had watched it sooner.

Oliver and

Company was also a big favorite of mine as a child.

And Hercules

inspired me to get into Greek Mythology. I try to incorporate some of it into my novel

nowadays.

Treasure

Planet rocks!
