This is wonderful news, as it signifies the fact that

Pixar Planet is indeed growing rapidly! 200 members is

Side-Note - Not that this matters, but I thought it would be

interesting to note that, in Cars, Chick Hicks is the winner of the final,

200 lap race at the end of the said film. Isn’t it a coincidence that the newest

member – Chick Hicks - happens to be the 200th,

official member of Pixar Planet? :slight_smile:

Our 200th member? Wow. I don’t remmber when we got our

100th member. But this calls for a celebration. Our 200th bot-free, absolute member.

We have made it

to 200.
Now 300 is only up the road. It’s potential, so who can say we willn’t

make it to the next hundred #?

According to the 100 members thread on the same page :stuck_out_tongue:, September 3 was the day we

had 100 members, but I later discovered that some of them were bots. Our real 100th

member joined 10 days later, so
it took about 4 months for our population to

double.

I hate to say this,

but, Chick Hicks was not our 200th member.

I’ve

had a suspicious thread put to the side for about a month, but for some reason, I didn’t look into it until

yesterday. Turns out it was one of those “hello threads” created by a bot. I eliminated it and then

did one final bot sweep. I checked out every single member who has never posted or only posted once. 4 of them

were bots.

Before my promotion to Forum Ambassador, I couldn’t examine profile information that is key to

filtering bots. But now that I have that power, I can guarantee you that our member list is absolute and will

remain so.

Our real 100th member was scheree, and our real 200th member was

F-Man.
