Just want to say I am doing the Disney Marathon on January 07,
-
I wasn’t signed-up for it, but one of my co-workers injured herself, from a previous marathon, and
will not be able to run this one. So i will take her place. This will be the second marathon I have
ran.
You can find out more information on the Marathon here:

Wow that sounds like fun! I would do it if I could get
myself over there and if I was at all athletic. But I’m neither so it seems like a no from me. I want to hear
what it’s like though!
If I
lived near Disneyworld, by golly, I would do it.

I wish you a great time during your marathon run – it does, indeed, sound like a
blast!

Cool. I live in Casselberry which is just north of Orlando. The marathon is
actually full, no more people can sign up.
Maybe you can sign up for the 2008 Marathon.
Only thing
that sucks is you got to be there at 4 am cause the marathon starts at 6 am.
Shoo, i didnt even realize they had a marathon! But good for you anyway! I dont
think i could do that…

How long is it? How long is the run?

A marathon is exactly 26.2 miles.
I did the Marine Corps Marathon in 5h 41mins. Hopely I can do this one in 5h 30mins.

Finished the marathon in 5h
41 mins 17 sec. I probably would have done it in 5h 30 mins if it wasn’t for all the bathroom breaks I took, but
it was so hot today and I had to drink a lot of water.

Congratulations! How was it? Was it exhilarating;
fun; exciting?
Well done, aZnCdn! You’re very brave. I bet you feel great now you’ve done it.

It was a lot of fun and very exciting. My camera
was too big to carry around whiel running. i would have loved to take pictures. Maybe next time

Actually I feel very exhausted.

aZnCdn - Yes, too bad you
couldn’t have taken pictures, but I do know how heavy a camera can get after running miles at a time. That’s
cool, though – sounds like you had a fun time.
Taking pics durring a Marathon? Doesn’t that put even
more stress on you?

OK I just signed up for the 2008 Goofy Challenge. The Goofy Challenge is to run the half marathon (13.2 miles)
on Saturday and the full marathon (26.2 miles) on Sunday.
Wow that is 40 miles in a 24 hour span.
