Oh… my word.

Friendliest member…? Best Fan Fiction writer…? Best freakin’ fanfiction with NO TIES?!! 8’D (I seriously wanna know who in the world is reading that fic and not telling me. Like, seriously. There are so many other fanfics on this site that kick mine in the butt… WHUT is this.)

And, and, and… I’m tied as Best Graphics and Icons artist with Phileas and thewisecookiesheet, who are both WAY more amazing than I am?!! Dang, this is an honor! I don’t even know what to say, guys… C’8

As for an “acceptance speech”, hmm…

Well, there are so many people on this site that have inspired me beyond words and need to be mentioned. First and foremost, Mitch… I look up to her like she has no idea. Her talent is beyond anything I harness and she is such an inspiration to me, not to mention an incredible friend. She’s blessed me with more than I could ever repay. Violet Parr, Netbug009, Sally Jonson, JustSoWall-eCrazy, Hannahmation… fellow sisters in Christ… let’s rock it!! :smiley: I really had hoped that Violet Parr would win Friendliest Member, because she truly is an amazing person and her kindness more than deserves to be pointed out - keep spreading the love and joy of Christ around, girl - it shines through you!!

Of course, I have to pull him aside and thank him in public, but I want to recognize a truly wonderful member of the community, and that is mo. I may sound a little biased saying this, but he has such a bubbly, energetic personality and he’s become a very important part of my life over the past year. He was the first to welcome me to PixarPlanet, and now almost an entire year later, we’re a couple (it’s a long story, but an incredible one… head on over to the “dating thread” to read all about it :wink:). You are the moonlight of my life every night, my WALL•E - and you’re everything to me! <3

A shout-out to our wonderful mods and staff members - keep up the incredible work. This site is amazing and wouldn’t be so without the hard work you guys put into it. Thank you. :slight_smile:

To all the good friends I’ve made here since joining - you know who you are. :wink: You guys mean the world to me, and without the support and encouragement (yes, and even critique!) from all of you I wouldn’t have made half the progress that I did over the past year. I pray God richly blesses you all for everything you’ve poured into my life - you guys are incredible.

And to anyone else I tied with - congrats to you guys, too! You probably deserved the award more than I did. :laughing:

Congratulations to all of the winners! You’re all so deserving of these awards and 2009 was a great year for Pixar Planet, with so many great new members contributing so much to the boards, and some really positive changes. Well done everyone for making Pixar Planet such a great place to stay! :smiley:

Congratulations to all the winners! I can see that many of you are amazed at your awards, but you all seriously deserve it. You guys must all be so proud…give yourself a pat on the back or go out and reward yourself with something. You guys even ought to celebrate it! :smiley:

I feel guilty having not taken the time to vote this year…argh, that’s two years I’ve missed out on nominating… If I had, it would’ve taken me lots of time to decide, because Pixar Planet is full of many sweet, funny, and awesome people so it’s hard to pick votes sometimes. You know what, I should add to my New Year Resolution to NOT miss out on voting this year, 2010,'s Pixar Planet Awards voting and nominating…

First off, a big congratulations to all of the winners! You all are very deserving of your respected titles! Secondly, I’d like to thank all who nominated and voted for me. I’m quite honored to be tied with Haunt as Best Artist - Other. She is a wonderful artist, as are those who won the other art categories! You are all an inspiration! LightningAndDoc - Actually the second commentary you were in (Toy Story 2 commentary 1) has been released for a while in the Completed Fan Commentaries thread. However I forgot to post it to that commentary’s own thread. I’ll post it there now.

Congrats to all the winners! :smiley: This was the first Pixar Planet Awards I got to be a part of (cuz last year I didn’t have a computer and had to use my PSP :unamused: )and it really was cool! Congrats again to all the winners! I know I didn’t win anything (I wasn’t really expecting to win anything anyways :laughing: ) but hey, I got nominated, which really means a lot to me! Thanks to anybody who voted for me, heck, thanks to everybody who voted and made this possible! :smiley:

Wow-whee, what an exciting start to the New Year! I’m just speechless… from 2 to 3 wins this year?

Anyway, congrats to all winners of the Awards, the forums wouldn’t have been as awesome without your presence and contributions. A few I want to mention:

A big thanks goes to Rachel and TSS, the organisers of this occassion and two of my first buddies on the boards when I arrived. Without your time spent getting the act together and counting our votes, this ceremony would not have happened, so kudos for that. Thanks also to the tech-wiz Phileas for bringing so many changes to the site in the brief time since you’ve been here, you deserve your ‘Best Staff Member’ award. Huge thanks to qxgnxamy too for patiently organising and synching the commentaries for us all, as well as lizardgirl for being a great mod and critiquer of my work.

My hearty congrats to my fellow winners: ffdude, you deserve your awards both as the craziest (in a good way) fan of Up, and as a funny and enthusiastic friend. Mitch, although she does not pop by here as often, deserves mention for continually inspiring me and other members in our artistic pursuits of awesomeness. little_chef, for crafting one of my favourite fanfics of all-time and being such a congenial and wonderful friend to all, BDD, for her comments and being a loyal supporter of old-school Disney, Rachel, for being the sweetest (hurr hurr, cakes=sweet) ‘conversation starter’ and ‘law enforcer’ this board has ever had, and TSS, the best Incredibles fan video artist in existence, and whom I’m proud to share the honour of ‘Best Video Maker’ and making promo sigs for.

Wow, I am so, uh, happy? I can’t think of a better word, to be the ‘Best Anton Ego’ and ‘Video Masher-Upperer’… and I’m really glad you all enjoyed my ‘groovy’ Wall-E spoof. So to all my loyal commenters and fans of my videos, graphics, and fan-art, you’re the reason I continue making these lame little parodies and MVs… from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I am, to quote the LGM, “eternally grateful” for your support these past two years, and I hope to continue to entertain you and spread the fandom for a long time to come!

Oops, the band is playing me off the stage. Congrats again everyone, and here’s to another Pixar-tastic year ahead!

Needless to say, those of you who bagged a prize definitely earned it! From the efforts of Rachel and The Star Swordsman to make this ceremony happen, to Phileas’ wonderful contributions to this site, to all the members of Pixar Planet who make this forum that much more memorable, all that you guys contribute to this site is appreciated and admired.

On a lighter note… Dang alive, I’m still up there?!? What the heck!!! But I wasn’t even around the site for almost a year!! You guys… I swear, you’re all too sweet. I really do appreciate the kind sentiments and the votes. I don’t feel like I deserve them. “Member Most Likely to get a Job at Pixar” again?!? Gee… blushes

And thanks to Phileas and little_chef_eva09 for mentioning me :slight_smile: ! I appreciate that, even though I won nothing, you still remember me. You have no idea how much that means to me! And thanks to the mods, TSS, Rachel, Phileas, and everyone else that made this possible. I was so happy to be a part of it! And thanks to everyone who nominated me/ voted for me. I’ll admit, I am kinda sad I didn’t win anything, but if I was supposed to win, I would’ve. So, maybe next year :slight_smile: ! I hope to only improve as a member by then.
