I doubt about the best couple. And that is yours, and I have mine. All I am saying is
Lightning and Sally are not on my favorite top favorite couples list.

Although I will say one thing about Lightning and Sally. Not really along the lines of oppisties attracting, but
more like similar yearning for each other’s differences.

yeah, they don’t have much in common. and both have a strong personality.
and at the end of the movie, their relationship only works because lightning gives in to her, leaving her
with the role of the “dominant” partner. at that moment, she takes the lead. but what happens if he
starts wanting his share of dominance? she’s a tough girl, and i wonder whether she is willing to give in to her
“softer” sides (although she can be soft, i bet! this is why is wrote "whether she is
willing"…).

I don’t think they are gonna
fight. And I don’t think that Lightning gave into Sally and that she’s now the “dominant”
one.
I think their personalities support and compliment each other. I think they have mutual respect for
each other and neither of them is the other “dominant”. I also think that Sally brings out all the
hidden good sides of McQueen’s personality. In my opinion their personalities challenge each other without
conflict.

Well, in MATGL, they were really, really close. At the end of the movie, they were really close. And in the drive in movie scenes, they were right next to each other. So, I guess they would be dating.
